A little pricey. But the ambiance, service & food was pretty good. Waiter was attentive without hovering.

fish was overcooked and tough. No one came to our table to see how food was. expensive dish for the quality. Maybe it was an off night for cook? We ordered 3 plates of fish.
Service was quite poor considering it's ranked #1 restaurant in McAllen. Lobster tail was ok, seafood pasta was overcooked. Steaks didn't look as good as Santa Fe. I wouldn't call this #1 in McAllen.
This is a great classic and a place that competes tet-a-tet with high end places in big cities. The menu has very original and smart choices and the meat is very good. Well above average of many other places in Mcallen. Service is excellent as...well as the wine list where there are excellent options.More
This was our first visit to The Patio. Our waiter (Reuben) was attentive without being too overbearing. Atmosphere was nice as we were seated away from the bar and the live entertainment so we were able to hold a conversation without yelling. Food was sensational....We'd return just for the bacon-wrapped scallops with mango chutney alone! The lamb was delicious and beautifully presented. Only thing we'd improve upon is the caprese salad. The dressing was a bit too "vinegary" and not a true balsamic. Highly recommend!More
Delicious food. Great selection. Good service. Very impressed with everything. Husband and I loved it. We celebrated our anniversary and they made it very special.
The food was decent - at best! I’m not sure why this place has such good reviews! Maybe it’s the decor or the ambience of rich folk nearby. I’d never go back to this place. It was way too expensive. You’d eat a lot better...food - for less the price - at a hole in the wall restaurant not far from downtown McAllen.More
4 stars for the place and service. Nice decor and ambiance. But only 2 for the food. The names of the dishes are misleading, for example: the churrasco is just a common steak. The tapas are just nachos and the espresso is only regular coffee....It looks like they are being overly pretentious and trying to impress with their supposed Euro flair. A Valley local might not notice these things but some of us who know are stuff expect to get what is being actually offered on the menu.More
My wife and I were nearby, we look it up and decided to try it. the place has a nice atmosphere food is good and we were pleasantly surprised by the service. The bar area was very lively and the live music was good without...being too loud. We definitely will go backMore

Every time I eat here it's great! I really love the bar area also! Every meal I've ever ordered or my family members and guests have ordered have been wonderful! We always have drinks in the bar before we are seated for dinner. We love...the coziness of the bar.More
My family and wife celebrated my birthday in this restaurant. We had a good meal and enjoyed the service. At the time we were there there were a few more customers. This situation contributed to having better service and attention. We got satisfying recommendations by...restaurant people.More
This a mexican food restaurant with chef detalis ,really elegant. Restaurant is family friendly. There is a man with a guitar putting soft music. Cordon Blu is a good plate, but its a little expensive in the overall check.
