My son's baseball team played this weekend in McKinney and we decided to go to lunch in between games. We first went to Razzoo's across the highway but were kicked out by management because we were a group over 8... although we asked to be...seated separately. We drove across the highway and enjoyed great food, exceptional service, no wait time and were seated all together in the back room! Hands down great experience!! Thank you Texas Roadhouse!More

OK I've been going to this chain for years at different locations so I obviously like the place, but I have to say I was really impressed with the steak on this trip. Both of us shared our different cuts and they were both awesome....Grilled shrimp was also good. The place was pretty busy, lots of scary masks and they have installed plexiglass around the booths which is great for keeping the kids from hanging over and bothering you. Hey I raised my kids I don't want to raise yours LOL.More

There are a lot of steakhouse in the area, but this one is not only affordable, it serves up great steaks. We made a seven thirty reservation and we were sitting down on a Sunday evening at seven thirty eating the peanuts. I ordered the...11 oz sirloin, which was delicious and it was cooked perfectly. A couple of the gals had the prime rib and after sampling I thought was excellent. Shelby our waitress was outstanding and took care of us from the minute we arrived. The atmosphere is fun and laid back, the drinks are cold. I highly recommend this one.More

My husband and I both got the chicken fried steak. In our opinion it was pounded to thin and tasted burnt. Maybe needed to use fresher oil. The mashed potatoes were very lumpy and tasteless.

Went here to celebrate my Father's birthday - TR has never disappointed us in the past, but on this Sunday afternoon visit, we found the customer service lacking. Food - Above Average - I ordered the 8 oz. filet, and when I've ordered this in...the past, I have always felt it could be a filet that could be served at a higher end steakhouse. Today, the steak was a bit chewy with some bites. A little disappointed compared to the standard they have set. Love the rolls (I had five of them!) and the baked potatoes are great even when served plain. Service - Below Expectations - Not sure if they were understaffed, but I felt like EVERYTHING took forever. Had to ask for silverware, took five minutes. Place our order, took 30 minutes to come out. Asked for refills, took five minutes. One of the entree's had to be sent back because it was not warm. We asked for them to bring out the birthday cake we brought with us...10 minutes later it still was not out, so we had to ask for the cake so we could take it home. It was not my best experience there. Ambiance - Met Expectations - Love the Texas vibe the place gives out, and they have perfected aura. Clean, with plenty of TV's playing the NFL football games. Value - Exceed Expectations - Even with the slightly disappointing steak (first time this has happened), I still feel like TR provides excellent value for the quality of food you get. Overall - I would still have no issues going back, and I feel that this experience was more an outlier than the norm.More

I never take the time to write a review but the service that Reid gave was awesome. His manager needs to be aware of his service. Will be going back specifically for his hospitality.

I just love this place, and it's the best chain restaurant that I've ever been to. The food is outstanding - the filet continues to impress me, and could be mistaken for something to be had at a higher end steakhouse. I think all the...sides are made from scratch, and it can be tasted in the quality. And goodness THE ROLLS!!! They are tasty without the cinnamon butter, but add the latter, and it becomes easy to fill up on them! The potato's (sweet and baked) don't need anything extra...because they bake/cook them in bacon fat! Yea, no butter needed here, and they were awesome! Service is great too, the employees really do come across as "loving their job", as it says on the back of some of their shirts. Love the Texas Roadhouse!More

We’ve been here a few times and the staff here tend to be little better than most other Roadhouses we’ve been to. Order is on point and fresh. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended
