Service is always warm and very attentive and very friendly. Unfortunately the food is mediocre at best. They never fail to serve fries that look like they forgot the fries and just serve the wee bits of potato at the end. Food is often served...lukewarm and always has to be sent back. The Yorkies are kind of tasty but always dry and overcooked, The Fish and chips. You have to really dig to find the fish inside the heavy batter… The seafood medley, mostly shells without hardly any seafood… we always feel sorry for the waitresses who have to serve this stuff and end up taking it back half the time to either be reheated or change to another offering. This was always our favourite pub for decades, but the food is really turning us off come on Coachman wake up.More

Having lived inPitt Meadows or nearby for over 10 years and been regulars at the Jolly Coachman when food is good: it appears that food quality has declined again. We made a reservation for the 12:30PM seating of the 2023 Mother's Day Brunch Buffet. NONE...of the 'hot' food items were hot. Only the scrambled eggs were warm. Eggs on the eggs benedict were cold, eggrolls were on plates unheated, seafood cold, chicken cold, chow mein cold, sweet and sour cold. Additionally, we did not see anyone hand carving ham as advertised and the roast beef being carved was RAW (not rare - raw: few were taking roast beef). Table service was fine but, a cold / raw beef buffet was not what we expected. Big disappointment.More

Great pub food - wings, fries, Phillips cheese steak... but I love the onion rings! Friendly people, great atmosphere. So happy we moved so close!

The Coachman has a new “fresh sheet” menu. Creative, new hand crafted dishes and best of the best. Pulled pork sandwich was delicious with perfect handcut french fries. Spring rolls are handmade fresh and delicious served special sauce and fresh lightly dressed greens. And more....Great meal s at great prices!!More

The Jolly Coachman Pub in Pitt Meadows, BC, Canada - an authentic English Pub style restaurant/pub built in 1977 by one of the group that brought us the Elephant and Castle and the Expo 86 British pavilion. We in Pitt Meadows, call it our own,...excellent pub fare, prime rib, fish&chips and more. Come with an appetite and a thirst, bring your friends, sit on the patio and enjoy the fresh country air and a great time.More

I buy beer at their little liquor store about once a week as it's local and the prices are good. So my order is just under 30 dollars. I have a 20 and 100 dollar bill. I give her the 100. She looks in her...till and says she only has three twenties and if she gives them all to me she won't have any left for the next customer. She told me to go get my 100 changed inside the restaurant and then come back. I said. If you have enough why can't you just give it to me. She said. Its not fair to the next customer. I said well why are they more important than me? I'm here first and you have enough....also the next customer might pay with 20s? She wouldn't do it. I just can't believe the mentality of some people. This person needs a serious lesson in customer service . I will find somewhere else to buy my beer. Totally unacceptable.More

Arrived Sunday morning for brunch 5 minutes early. Pub opens 14 minutes late. Ok we know getting bk to normal is tough. We are the first in line and first seated. Waiting awhile for a bevy and low and behold the server shows late. She...takes the order for the couple right beside us. Looks at us and walk all the way over to the other side of the patio to take an order from another table. Ok, well she doesn’t know who came in first, odd her choice of taking orders. Then she completely ignored us for about 8 minutes while serving beverages to the other two people. Then another 4 tables came in and she proceeded to take their orders. Would not come to our table. We are not smelly or rude. We don’t look poor or homeless. Wtf, in my own neighbourhood. We eventually got up and left. #Boycott #JollyCoachman . I can forgive slow service during the reboot of our economy but pathetic and rude… no way!!!More

While thankful to enjoy a great patio during the height of pandemic restrictions, I was really disappointed with my mushroom caps, which, according to the menu would be loaded with crab and shrimp. First of all, the presentation was terrible, a little shell-shaped dish with...five small mushrooms (okay, medium maaaybe) and some melted cheese burnt on the dish. It was not appetizing. I almost sent it back with a request to see any crab or shrimp once I started eating it. There was one mushroom cap with a lot of chewy green onion. Overall, the flavour wasn't bad but the seafood was difficult to see. It was certainly not loaded as the menu promised. I want to suggest that the owner/chef visit The Meridian Arms Pub in Port Coquitlam for an example of how to make awesome mushroom caps that look and taste delicious. I should add that both places do include some garlic bread. It was not mentioned in the menu at the Jolly Coachman but I was grateful because otherwise my snack would really have felt like a rip-off for $13. I'll never order it again. I wanted the honey garlic chicken wings but I had a bandaid on my thumb from a skin crack caused by excessive hand washing. Maybe next time.More

I love the Jolly Coachman, it's our go to spot, like to support local business - staff is great, love the patio especially now that it can be used year round. Was there last week and had the French Onion Soup and it was way...too salty, couldn't eat it. They took it off of my bill which I appreciated. Today popped in for a late snack during the 2 - 5 happy hour when they have a reduced price menu, ordered chicken strips and fries. Chicken strips were fine but the fries were way over cooked, dark and oily and tasted like the oil that they were fried in had not been changed in quite some time. I was picking up more than just the flavor of French fries.More

Dropped in for a beer and a snack - Goat cheese bruschetta - very flavourful. The best part was the Bartender (Owner?) who treated all her patrons with the hospitality of her own home and treated her staff with kindness and patience. Such a lovely...environment to relax and enjoy a beer! I will make the journey from White Rock again for breakfast and football!! Thank you!!More
