Have eaten here many times, however they have closed due to expansion of Hwy 5. We all hope they will reopen in Melissa asap.

Great if you want a delicious meal with large portions at a good value. Last time, I had the street tacos, and they were delicious, they will be my go-to dish next time I go there, though I've enjoyed everything I've eaten here. They also...have a happy hour during the week, with margaritas and beer available at a discount. Worth a visit if you're in Melissa. The restaurant is clean, the service is great, but it's not a fancy, upscale type of restaurant, if that's what you're looking for.More

Had tacos and my wife had a burrito. Both were excellent. Clean restaurant with super friendly staff!

Fresh authentic Mexican food with friendly, attentive service. If you are looking for a “Non-chain” experience, I highly recommend that you give them a try. Really enjoyed my meal and will definitely return.

I have been craving tacos, and I had been to several places that were just awful. So I was so glad my niece told me to stop by here on the way home. I had the guacamole, which was really good. It was enough for...two or three people. Then I got these brisket tacos. They call it something else, but I don't remember the name. But it was essentially brisket. They come on soft corn tortillas, and there is plenty of meat, so they don't just pile on the lettuce and leave u with just a tablespoon of meat like a lot of places do. They served rice and charro beans with it. It was the perfect size portions. My mouth is watering from doing this review....it was so good! Now I can't wait to go back! Service was really good. Our server was extra attentive, even tho it was busy. I will definitely go back and recommend! I hope to try something new next time!More

Great service. Good food. Well-priced. Very family oriented. Having recently moved to the area, we were really pleased to find this little restaurant so close and so reasonable. The entrees are generous. We’ve been twice and have taken leftovers home each time! Can’t really recommend...their margaritas - was surprised when it arrived and was pink!! Very sweet and a bit overpriced. Other than that, we have been very pleased and plan to visit often.More

My family and I have only eaten here once, but we were very pleased. Good texmex food, everything was as we expected, good priced, served hot, and quickly. Very kind staff also. For a place down the street from us, it definitely serves it purpose....We will be back.More

They don't have much atmosphere but the fajitas are decent. Good place to go if you are wanting to stay close to home. Average experience. Wait staff is fairly friendly.

I will say this first...the people who run and perhaps own this place, whether they are one in the same, I don't know, are extremely friendly and that is what you want in a host. That being said, the supply of restaurants and shops are...increasing in this little town and the two local Mexican restaurants are serving up very similar fare at similar quality. Fortunately or unfortunately, the first "new" Mexican restaurant that hits the area could shut them both down with a measly 2-point jump in quality/presentation. Neither seem to be trying very hard and seem to be benefitting simply because they are the only games in town. I would recommend stepping up the game before the game changes.More

Small town atmosphere. The server was nice, although I think she was new. We ordered chicken fajitas for two. There was more than enough food. I also ordered a side salad, which was not on the menu. It was not good. The beans and rice...were outing to write home about and kind of bland. The service was quick and the food was hot.More
