Good pizzeria spot in the town. The place has good options for reasonable prices. Pizzas were tasteful, pasta was homemade. Draft beer was ok. Service is polite snd efficient. Price quality ratio is good. I recommend this place for a good pizza beer in family.

Le Galipo looks like a simple coffeshop, but their pizzas are quite delicious! Good service and relaxed atmosphere. When we were in Carcans this was one of the few restaurants open in Carcans. So we didnt expect much, but we were delighted by the food!

We ate here with our two children. While they may have enjoyed their margarita pizza somewhat (you can’t really rune that can you) I really did not like my pizza. It had a lot of tasteless, watery fresh tomatoes. The dough got soggy so it...had no bite. There was too much rocket salad thrown on, finished with some balsamic vinegar or something. All in all one of the worst pizzas I ever had the displeasure of eating. My girlfriend’s pizza also was soggy, so that wasn’t much better. The cocktails we had were also below average. Service was alright so one extra point for that.More

I've eaten here twice over two years and regretted it both times. In 2016 the service was bad, and I also ended up feeling ripped off when I asked if I could swap a pizza topping and the rude waitress didn't tell me that she...would charge me for an extra topping. This year (2017) the service was great. Very friendly and fast. We also really enjoyed their strong, delicious cocktails and party vibes at the bar after the meal. But the food was really very poor. We had a very expensive (€16) burger and a pizza. They looked great! But all the ingredients on the pizza were awful quality and I ended up feeling ripped off again. For example, the ham was reformed cheap, watery, gristly rubbish, piled on, slices stuck together. I'd rather have less of nice quality. Even more disappointing were the lardons, which are supposed to be cured belly pork (chunky bacon strips), with layers of fat that go crispy, but these were the same cheap reformed ham in a different shape. These are not lardons so this is actual mis-selling. What's the point? I just had piles of the same cheap meat in different shapes. I would not have chosen that pizza if I had known the main attractions of its toppings were not present. I became increasingly disgusted with the pizza and couldn't face finishing it. The burger looked fantastic and I had food envy, especially as it was served pink. However, it was also cold in patches. It became obvious that the burger had been pre-grilled in advance and then microwaved before serving, making the pinkness a serious food hazard. My partner became so revulsed that he felt nauseous for the rest of the evening and hasn't been able to face burgers since. Thankfully he didn't get food poisoning, but I expect others have been poisoned here or will be in future if the restaurant doesn't improve its practices. Such a shame that corners are so severely cut at this place. So unnecessary. From the reviews, most people don't seem to realise they have been ripped off and served such terrible quality with such diabolical food preparation.More

I definitely recommend this Pizzeria if you ever come to Carcans. Wide choice of pizzas and lasagnas, steaks, salads etc...fresh , tasty and affordable for a tourist spot. Try their local beer Meteor or their large choice of wines : after all we are in...Bordeaux ! I recommend Loupiac and Cerons sweet wines in White ! As locals take itMore

So glad we happened upon Le Galipo during our search for an open restaurant on a Monday evening in April. We get very frustrated at the lack of restaurants open for business during the off season in the area and so we were delighted when...we found Le Galipo. Even more delighted to find the food to be of such high quality! We shared a very tasty Salade Landaise before having two excellent steaks, spoiling ourselves with Cafés Gourmands (last night of the holiday after all!) Service was relaxed and friendly, extremely helpful also bilingual which was nice. Loved the decoration, nice and cosy with a little bit of quirky thrown in. We will very definitely be back again, in fact given the fact that they are open from April to November we will most likely become regulars!More

The place is very similar with different places for surfers. The food and the service is very nice. Very close to the ocean.

Like the other reviewers have said it is perfectly placed for a stop-off bite to eat when coming off the beach. Veggie Pizza was great (best one I had during my travels in France) plus service excellent. very busy with people lining up for tables...which speaks for itself.More

We stopped at Le Galipo on our way back from the beach. Excellent pizza, salad and beer. Just what we needed after a few hours on the beach and in the waves.
