This bar has a fab vibe and even does happy hour from 5pm for two to three hours. We headed down here a number of nights for a vin chaud and a beer apres ski. It is also very welcoming to families and we certainly enjoyed their nachos and the use of the free wifi to update family and friends... More

As I have only been here for beers I cannot review the food however, on the occasions I have been in it would not have a been a great place for a quiet meal out! The big draw for us was the SKY sports and the fact that England games were on! There are two TVs (one of either side... More

Hi Howard Thanks for your positive comments regarding the Spitting Feathers. I assure you we are not always “rammed” so it might perhaps be worth trying our very popular Fish and Chips on a Friday or even one of our delicious curries on a Wednesday night or for that matter perhaps one of our popular “Plat-du-Jours” at any time whilst... Hidden away and a great little place to go for friendly service and reasonably priced drinks. Haven't tried the food but the curry they're cooking at the moment smells amazing! Will definitely be back again before we go home.

Hi Lou Thanks for your kind comments regarding the Spitting Feathers. I believe (if I am thinking of the right person) you called in a couple of times during your stay so we must be doing something right! For your information, our homemade curry is served every Wednesday night and is VERY popular so if next time you fancy one,... More

Staff in here are really friendly and the English style pub inside makes you feel very at home! The food menu is small and limited but the burgers made in the tiny kitchen in the back by the bar tenders are so nice! They are reasonably priced and are so tasty, one of the best I've tasted in this resort!... More

Good atmosphere, good beer and o.k if you want to watch the football, but I would not eat there, 30 minute wait for a tasteless, over priced fast food mini burger, plenty of better restaurants to choose from.

Hi Tony I thank you for your custom, and more importantly your feedback, and I am so sorry that you had a less than perfect experience with us. It would help me greatly to understand a bit more about this experience, in particular exactly when this took place. Our burgers have previously been described by customers as ‘the best in... More

We went twice. The first time for a mid afternoon snack (frites, which were fine). There was a premier league match on. Its quite a small bar and the place was quite full with a large group of british men watching the football. The second time we went was also mid afternoon. We had one drink, and would have had... If I can wake up after a post ski snooze I will always stumble over to the Spitting Feathers for food, drink and new company - it's where the Ski Club of Great Britain rep meets every evening. No nonsense food like curries, pizza or fish and chips. And if you need to catch up, football on the TV.

No better way to wind up a week's skiing than fish & chips in this friendly bar. Good service, good atmosphere and an interesting mix of people make it a memorable experience. Bar meals are served each evening but the highlight is the Friday fish and chips. Well worth traveling from any part of La Plagne using the amazing shuttle... More
