The restaurant is situated in Playa de Capellan, just a five minute walk from the main Paseo. The chiporones frito and salad were very fresh and the Paella to follow was very good. House red was excellent. Service was attentive and it was nice to...More

Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch today, the best Paella ever, made with fresh local ingredients - amazing! We think we make a good one ourselves, but not as good as this - we will be back! Silver service by Manny the Waiter ... A good experience...More

The ambience is basic, the wine average, but the ribs and jacket potatoes were just great and they kept coming!

A hidden gem well worth the walk up the hill we have eaten in restaurants rated much higher than this but none of them are as good simply great food at a good price and the ambience is second to none

Went for lunch. Good though service and the owner Edith came to greet us. Food simple fare British or local, generally as you would expect. No rip offs. Our Russian waitress was so nice.

This isn't the first time I have eaten at The Old Pirate, in fact I have been eating there, if irregularly, for the last 16 years. The food has been consistently good over this time and my most recent visit was no different. The food...More

Very good menu with a lot of variety. Very well cooked and presented with not much of a wait. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. Will go again.

Good halfway stop if you're walking from cap salou to salou. Cocktails much better than our hotel's. Mojito is excellent. Service could have been quicker as place was quiet.

A family run restaurant specializing in excellent Mediteranean food served by friendly international staff that speak a multitude of languages. We also serve some popular international dishes including some Russian favourites. The garden terrace presents a relaxed atmosphere away from the noise of people and traffic. A haven for a quiet drink next to the beach.
