Lovely restaurant, from decor to dessert ! Prices were really reasonable for the quality . I had paella de marisco and it was superb , lots of fresh shellfish , no skimping or having to hunt the prawn . Plentiful! The aioli is quite strong , as is the sangria , but I'm not complaining , it was all so... More

Saw on Trip Advisor among recommended fine dining options. Arrived at 2000 to a very sparsely populated restaurant - first warning. Seated in an annexe away from the main dining area, was presented with a menu which looked appetising. I chose mushrooms and prawns which arrived as basically a small omelette with prawns and mushrooms - badly needed more seasoning... More

Every year when I come for my holliday to Gran Canaria, I go to La Toja. Never despointed. Always good. Alfredo is a real PR. Always recomended the best meal and the best wine. All the staff are very friendly ad wellcome. And the food is good variety and good quality. The average price/quality: Excellent.

Typical, classic styled restaurant with polite staff who look as though they have worked there for a number of years, know all about silver service and know their trade. €100 for the 2 of us for 3 delicious courses. Food was excellent, can't remember what we had as was a couple of weeks ago, but certainly remember there being no... More

First the good news , the entree , tuna croquette was really nice and the warm bread rolls were tasty. After that things went downhill the ham croquettes were stodgy and tasteless, however, the mussels were fresh but bland. The sole was overlooked and dry although expertly filleted by the waiter. I reckon he knew it wasn't good because we... More

We enjoyed a perfect arroz negro (gratinated with an alioli which worked really well) and an excellent, zingy tuna tartare in this place which had a really authentic Spanish vibe w great décor, lots of scenes of rural Spain (including Asturias!). Our waiter was informative, friendly and funny helping us choose a delicious Navarre rosé wine and bringing us an... More

We visited la you on the back of TA reviews... They serve humongous gin and tonics here and have an interesting menu, something for everyone. We enjoyed the fish carpaccio to share as a starter, and since i love seafood the cuttlefish I chose for my main course was superb. My OH had monkfish and was equally impressed. Our waiter... More

Description
Closed for holidays from 6 to 30 september. Restaurant "La Toja" opened in 1982. We started this adventure with lots of enthusiasm and excitement and thanks to customers who have become our friends, every day STRIVE TO GIVE A LITTLE BIT OF OURSELVES to share with you this gastronomic proposal. In "La Toja" you can enjoy a wide selection of "tapas" (which are traditional in Spanish cuisine) and a good meal based on traditional cuisine BROUGHT TO THE XXI CENTURY. We are looking for the HONEST KITCHEN WITH NATURAL FLAVORS, without the typical greasy recipes, without ridiculous and contrived names without unappetizing presentations. We have a different menu of carefully selected wines, giving a special RELEVANCE TO CANARY WINES and national as well. Also if you wish we will advise you the most appropriate one, in addition to delight you with an extensive selection of spirits and drinks. The calmness of the interior and the attentive treatment that we offers in "La Toja" restaurant is perfect for any occasion both to go with couple, family meal, friends or for business meeting. The result is always the same: charming moments. What are you waiting for to come?
