I had a fillet of sole with mushroom sauce and prawn. It was tasty but I wouldn't say amazing. I had more amazing food. My company had the regular steak and she really liked it. The two things that really bothered me. Maybe this is a custom at restaurants here in Gran Canaria or in Spain in general. It's so... More

Went here last night on a recommendation from friends. Place is nice, which doesn't really matter, because you can't eat the wallpaper. We found it excessively expensive without excessive quality or quantity. Not saying it was bad, just not worth the cost. We had assorted fish for 2, which was ok, but not generous and kinda bland. It came with... More

Easily the best fish restaurant in the area. We had two meals there - sea bass baked in salt and fish platter, both to share as the two main courses. Fresh, succulent and perfectly cooked. A shared starter and a shared dessert were sufficient for us. Good choice of wines which go with seafood- e.g. reasonably priced Albariño. Friendly, efficient... More

Had been before but last time was over five years ago and much the same if not better than I remembered. Shellfish starters were very special - we had tasty raw clams and grilled razor clams. Mains were simple grilled turbot and hake in saffron sauce (delightful). We had lemon sorbet and papaya in cointreau both of which were light and... More

The best fish restaurant in town by a long way. Elegant, tasteful and friendly. Everything fresh and enjoyable. Been going for 15 years and never been let down. Same staff too. Little bit pricey but such a treat!

The food is great. The fish and seafood are fresh. And you will jolly well pay for it. We ordered "pulpo a la gallega" (octopus with potatoes and paprika), seafood soup, salad, and assorted seafood. Waiters are very nice too!

Went on recommendation from resort. It's located on edge of the Yumbo shopping centre and looks nothing from outside. But when you've made it down the steep steps the inside is a real upmarket treat. Good friendly service supporting a skilled kitchen. Fish is very good - I loved the Hake. Shell fish is even better - a plate of... More

When I was a child holidays invariably involved visiting relatives, or swapping homes with friends of friends, in order to save money. However, on one day of each holiday, my parents would scrape together the cash for a 'splurge'. Often this would simply mean eating out, rather than at 'home', and often cheaply.. fish & chips and cherryade spring to... More

Friendly staff, high quality food for a great price . No outside space for summer months but we didn't mind in march. It was my birthday so three waiters sang cumpleanos feliz and made a little friendly fuss giving me a little candlelit tiramisu . Very sweet. I would thorougly recommend a visit if you fancy a nice evening meal.

Although I was not sitting at "aaronbeattie3" table when they ate (See their Review), I too was told by my landlady a Local Canarian that this restaurant was probably one of the best fish places in the area. the 3 of us sat down to three starters and one enormous plate of mixed sea food platter (supposed to be for...
