This restaurant has a daily lasagne special, plus sandwich and soup/sandwich combos. If you love broccoli cheese soup, theirs is to die for!!! Save room for their fabulous desserts! Derby pie is delicious!!

I have been there this afternoon for lunch and everything was great from the food to the service. It's a cute little gem with a special Italian meal every day. For dessert I had the chocolate cake which was wonderful. I will def return and recommend this place.

Delicious food every time. I have had the panini sandwich many times and I think it is the best sandwich of my life. Great selection of desserts as well! If you get a chance to order the pasta dish...DO IT! But they usually sell out on it quickly. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Our food came out in... More

This is my goto Mineral Wells lunch spot, especially when entertaining outr of town guest. They not only have your typical tea room fare , but also hearty italian meals. The lentil soup and paninis are to die for. Don't forget to try the homemade deserts.

My family loves this cute cafe. They have soups and sandwiches. They serve spaghetti and meatballs every day and then usually have a special of some kind as well. Great place to eat during the week!

Having lunch in this quaint restaurant is like eating in your grandmother's kitchen. The food is freshly made and the desserts can't be beat!!! I have been eating here for several years, and I've never been disappointed!

Great food and service. Very quaint little place. Local favorite for lunch. Got there around noon and the special was already sold out, must have been good.

I was given a gift certificate for my birthday. Finally, put it to use when work was done on the kitchen. Attentive staff, great food, and do save room for desserts, which all are homemade!!! Needs to be open on Saturdays.....open until 2:30p Monday-Friday....

Description
Cute place locally owned for lunch that is not what you get everywhere else.

Our daughter was married in Mineral Wells last Saturday, June 18th, and I had planned to have a Bridal Luncheon at the rental house where we were staying. As Mother of the Bride, I had no time to do that the day before the wedding - silly me for thinking I could, so on that Friday at 9:30 a.m., I called the Black Horse Cafe to see if they could accommodate a party of 17 at 11:30. They were incredible! Quickly got the room they use as an office/party room ready for our guests, had the most amazing food, and the service was fantastic. We were so impressed and so grateful for their kindness. I'm still thinking about the delicious quiche I had and the chocolate layer cake. Too bad they don't have a location in Tennessee!
