I just really haven't found a BBQ in BCS that I thoroughly enjoy (unless I'm cooking), but this place has good que. I preferred the spicy sauce with my perfectly smoked brisket (both lean and regular cuts are good) also I tried the jalepeno sausage and it was delish! If you driving though Navasota and are near hunger, stop in,... More

For lunch I had the two meat combo with brisket an ribs. Along with that I had the mashed potatoes and some corn soufflé. Sorry guys but the meat was OK but the potatoes, soufflé or whatever it was and the Bar B Que sauce was just not very good. Others at the table agreed that they had better but... More

Stopped here for lunch (obviously) and enjoyed it. The 'que was tasty and tender and really enjoyed the fact that they had green bean casserole as a side option. Besides the green bean casserole they had a good corn casserole but the potato salad was disappointing. If some in your party don't want barbecue they have an extended menu of... More

Tried them 3 times now hoping it would have gotten better. Nope. BBQ is good, staff is in no hurry to serve you, salad/sides bar looks nasty and unappetizing.

We first visited this place when it first opened its doors years ago, and it was a refreshing new concept. The other day we decided to go on a short road trip, but stopped by there to get lunch before all the ‘lunch commandoes’ showed up. This mutt loves tranquility and a quiet atmosphere. This mutt was hungry for a... More

The brisket here is very good, sausage is good but not exceptional. Sauce is on the table and cold -advice to owners: heat up the sauce. Service (cafeteria style) was good. Place was clean and friendly.Beans were lacking in flavor but okay; potato salad okay.

Was traveling back from a work trip and stopped in to see what the buzz was about. It was good, busy, reasonably priced. Anything battered and Fried is made to order. Skip the fried pickles...nothing special..Ranch was tastless, Pickles lacked seasoning. If in town I'll stop and eat again

Today, driving by Navasota at lunchtime, we'd never been to the town, so pulled off. Checked reviews and felt good about heading to Mallett Bros. Unless you are looking for it, the round sign with their name circled around is difficult to read. In terms of branding, a bigger or easy-to-read sign could better establish their name. I asked for... More
