The original Cooper's in Llano is sometimes mentioned in articles about Texas BBQ, along with the places in Lockhart (smitty's, Kruez, Blacks) Luling City Market, Salt Lick in Dripping Springs. I've never been to the Llano location, but the New Braunfels is kind of just...More

$25 for couple chopped beef sandwhiches with sides, drinks, and a small cup of cobbler. Beef was dry and needed their famous sauce. Cooper's seasoning is good enough to purchase.

Great tasting brisket. Spicy beans (be careful) they don't warn you. Totally overpriced! For 1/4 brisket, potatoe and leg quarter with 2 drinks- $30!!! Rush you thru the line and sit at picnic style tables. Not comfortable for people with spinal problems.

Loved the brisket!! Ribs delish!! Chicken yum! A little confused with the ordering when you walk in but besides that a revisit is much anticipated!

I love bbq and have it every chance I can get my wife to agree too, while Cooper's is good it's not the same as the Llano location.

Shared a sliced lean brisket sandwich. Meaty, tasty! You must save room for the peach cobbler. They give military discount (thank you).

As a transplant to Texas, there are some things that take a little getting used to. Texas BBQ is one of those. When you enter Coopers, you pick your meat right from the grill. They wrap it in paper and plop it on your tray....More
