The Alpine Haus is the best and most authentic Gwrman food in New Braunfels. We always enjoy bringing out of town friends here for real German food!

This place is highly visited so be sure to make reservations before you go. Soup and salad great, entrees were either awful or great. Entrees that were great and therefore eaten, caused heartburn and stomach issues later. They do. Or allow you to just order...More

We went to New Braunfels for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary, and we decided to have dinner at Alpine Haus based on reviews. I made a reservation the night before, but I'd recommend calling earlier than that. We arrived and were seated almost immediately....More

Great historic building providing the perfect ambiance. Food is authentic German cuisine, some with some slight local twist. Great for date night. Make sure you make reservations; the location is smaller and tends to fill up fast.

Went with friends who've lived in Germany and they also raved about the food's authenticity. Small but cozy and not too noisy. Food was excellent and beer selection superb.

I had trouble parking my Small car, if that answers your question. It’s in an old part of town, settled before the city council began setting rules on parking lot sizes.
