You have to make a reservation because they have limited seating. But it is so worth it. I'm not a big fan of German food. I was a bit nervous when the other wanted to go here. I was very pleasantly surprised. The waitresses were...More

We had the sauerbraten with spaetzle and red cabbage and it was wonderful. Nice relaxing atmosphere with quaint rooms. If you are looking for German food this is the place.

Went to the Alpine Haus several times and have tried the wurst/sausages, Schnitzels, Gulasch and a few other things. All entrees were excellent. The ambiance is like a quaint little German restaurant in Bavaria.

Quaint historical building, good atmospherefreindly staff. Enormous German beer menu. Somehow food didn't quite measure up to what we were told to expect. Not sure we would go again.

The ONLY reason I did not give this small, wonderful, German restaurant five stars is the potato salad. I have had WAY better. Other than that it was wonderful. Plenty of food served and I loved the spaetzle! Good Stuff! Make sure you make reservations!

It is a bit pricier than your average restaurant about town - but totally worth it. Especially on the evenings when there is traditional music being played.
