The food was really good and not really expensive. We were there on a Sunday afternoon and it was not crowded, so we didn't wait long for the food. It is really close to the port and easy to find.

We go to La Playita all of the time, whether it's for lunch or dinner. The Steak A La Mexicana is my go to meal. If you're not in the mood for Mexican food, try the cheeseburger or fried shrimp. They are really good!

When I'm staying on Bolivar, this is where I go for Mexican food, especially migas for breakfast. It's off the main road so the people who go there -- mostly locals -- aren't just passing by; they are going there to eat! A staple of Bolivar dining.

This is a down home Mexican restaurant, where you seat yourself, can see the kitchen, and have some good Mexican food! We all had plenty, and the salsa was wonderful, a little on the spicy side, but we like it that way! Taco salad bowl was sweet, which was good. Fajitas were loved by my mom in law, especially the... It's not much to look at but the food was good and the staff was friendly. I enjoyed my Mexican combo with no complaints.

Always enjoy grabbing a bite here. Food is authentic Tex-Mex with an Old Mexico flair with their homemade tortillas and fresh spices and peppers.

I've sampled several dishes here, all have been very good. Food arrives hot and fast and bursting with flavor. The service is more than adequate. Drinks refiled timely. I'm a repeat customer and will continue to be so.

We took the Ferry from Galveston and drove around Port Bolivar for awhile. It was lunch time and we were all hungry. We stumbled on this small restaurant and we were glad we did! We all had Mexican food. The chips and salsa were yummy!! There was just the right amount of spice and the chips didn't leave a greasy... More

Stopped for lunch after taking the ferry from Galveston. My wife and I shared a chicken fajita tacos plate, which included a choice of corn or wheat tortillas as well as rice and beans. There was plenty of food for the two of us.
