Stopped in for lunch on a Friday about 11:45. We ordered off of the menu, rather than one of the lunch specials. The chips that were brought out tasted to us like old oil had been used, as they left a bitter aftertaste. (It didn't seem to bother the other guests, however.) It took 40 minutes for our plates to... More

Great service at small quaint restaurant. It's now called La Antigua. Food was great and we'll priced. Tried the fried avacado, different but good. We'll situated and easy to find.

Third restaurant we have eaten at in Port Lavaca - enjoyed the experience. Seems a little chaotic - but the service was prompt and the food good. I had a snapper filet covered in a shrimp and chipotle sauce - tons of small shrimp and more spicy then I expected. Waaaay too much food - we should have the split... More

We were travelling through Texas and wanted delicious Mexican food as it is rare to find in our home state of Maine. We found this place through Trip Advisor. What a great find. Prices were fair and the service was wonderful. I had the stuffed avocado. What a great surprise. It was an avocado stuffed with chicken fajita and cheeses... More

Great salsa..has a good bite to it. La Reyna is outstanding...a beef fajitas taco with chicken fajita quesadillas, but the "taco" is actually a lot of wonderful fajita meat rolled in a flour tortilla and smothered with chle con queso. Mmmmm. Margaritas are very good too!

My kids and I shop alot in PL. We often eat here. The place is clean and we get our food fast. The margaritas are great. Great chips and salsa. I order the lunch specials often. I always enjoy a fresh glass of limonada. I am getting hungry just thinking about this place! LoL!

The food is good but you will wait quite a while for your food to come. They are very busy all of the time so if your in a hurry don't go then wait Until you have the time to wait.

Traveling we like to try different restaurants- no chains. This was one of the best places that we have tried. We went early as we heard that it gets very busy. Not fancy- it was like a hole in the wall cafe with excellent food.

The chips were VERY greasy. The queso was above average. Service was poor and the place was not busy. The food was ok but was floating in grease. Maybe thats why it tasted ok.

A really great restaurant with a very low publicity profile in a town with generally poor restaurant choices. You should add this one.
