Very good food. Good wait staff. Moderately priced. Very good if you want something a little different or something familiar. Very good!

Stopped in for dinner with the wifey. In a strip mall next to K Mart but we were not there for the ambiance. The spring rolls were fresh and tasty. Wifey had the Chinese chicken something or other, large portion and delicious, she does not like Pho yet. I ordered the noodle soup with brisket. The key to good Pho... More

Their sesame chicken is almost unbeatable! The surrounding Hu Dat restaurants do not compare to this one in Portland, TX! Anything you order here is excellent! Also add Crab Rangoon's for an appetizer! Owners and staff are always very nice and accommodating.

My family just moved here last year from another state and were worried about having a good oriental restaurant. The food is very good and the staff are very nice. The only bad thing is the staff is not run very well, the communication for how long things will take on to gos is very off.

Hu Dat Oriental did not strike my interest at first being somewhat close to Louisiana and the similar "who dat" popularity. But decided to try and glad I did. Simple atmosphere with a nice variety menu. One thing for sure I have proven to myself at this place is consistently good food and service. Repeat orders come out the same.... More

As a Vietnamese noodle house, you won't find another Asian restaurant quite like this one. You can order "traditional" Asian-American food as well as Vietnamese food and noodle-based dishes. A nice change from your typical "Chinese" food restaurant that are so prolific and generally have the same foods.

Excellent hot food. Friendly attentive staff. Another new favorite. Might be the best egg drop/hot and sour soup in this area.

We love the service here. It is obviously a family concern and they pride themselves in their service. They should! The food was excellent as well. We had Mongolian beef, general tso chicken , fried rice, spring rolls... I feel fairly secure in stating that anything you order will be great.

I love this restaurant. It's not as good as the first Hu Dat in Fulton, TX but it's still really good. I love the spring rolls & ANY of their pho soups. Well worth the price.
