I stop in for a great gyro sandwich from time to time. They have a lunch buffet that is very popular too. Give it a try.

The food is reliable, and the service is attentive. The surprise at Afrah is the range of available sweets --- gelatos in unique flavors, cookies, baklavas and other pastries. My preference is the perfectly spiced coffee with a sweet or two.

Great place, and apparently very popular with the local foreign nationals. And Why not? Great food, reasonable prices and very attentive service. Can't go wrong.

Delicious authentic Mediterranean food. Family environment. Meat is very tender. We tried the Beef sharwma sandwich, beef kabob plate, Zatar and meat pies. All were good. They serve gelatos and Arabian sweets. A little bit on the pricey side but worth it.

Bakery to die for, I have never seen so many different kinds of baklava in my whole life. I wish I had skipped lunch and just gotten dessert. Anyway, I loved my lamb kabob dinner, wanted to bathe in the tahini sauce. Also had grape leaves, salad and rice with my meal. Go here on game day!

I have dined at Afrah a number of times. It was featured on Guy's Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, which is how I learned of it. It offers a wide variety of items, even some Indo-Pak dishes. The serving staff are very nice, but the food on recent visits has been only so-so, the hummus, tzatziki, and baba ganoush not so... More

The service was good but the food seemed like a fast food version of mediterranean. Atmosphere was like typical casual dining.

Take a culinary adventure! The gyros and baklava are excellent! In fact, everything was good. :-) I recommend you start with a shared appetizer to sample falafel, hummus, and the grape leaf rice rolls.

Thank MamaMitzi
