Discovered a restaurant in Rosenberg, TX. Very friendly staff. Excellent food. I will definitely return to this fine classic.

In a historic section of town, surrounded by quaint shops, and in an old building, this place was fun for brunch on a Sunday. Mimosas came immediately, prices were reasonable, service was efficient. The manager came around to every table to get feedback. I noticed that the people who worked here were all on the younger side, which bodes well... More

Just a block from the railroad museum sits this Rosenberg classic. Tastefully decorated, the place offers a nice selection of salads and pretty creative sandwiches using the best local and regional raw material. We particularly enjoyed the 819 (Avocado, Bacon, Pepper jack, Lettuce, Tomato and Jalapano aioli), and the Cuban sandwich, one of the best we've had in the state.... More

Quaint little restaurant. Food was really good and the portions were amazing. Had the Cream of Mushroom soup and it did not disappoint. For the main dish I ordered the Cuban Sandwich. It was large enough for both me and my wife. The only downside would be phone reception. It's in an old building with lots of iron, so reception... More

The food is good but the speed of service is slow. I've been here even when there has been only 3 tables occupied and service is still slow so bring you sleeping blanket. The food is served in good portions and plentiful as well is the quality. My only complaint is that they are on top technology for paying/splitting/gratuity your... More

My husband was raving about having the chicken and waffles here, so naturally I was dying to try this place out! I ended up getting the eggs Benedict (amazing) and him the chicken and waffles. We did a trade and had half of each and it was delicious. The coffee was delicious, loved the saucer it's served on with the... More

We stopped here after attending church on Sunday. They don't open until 10 a.m. on Sunday so we were patiently waiting outside and one of the first diners thru the door when they opened. The restaurant quickly filled up within about 20 minutes of opening. I loved the atmosphere! Very warm and welcoming staff. Food was great and we will... More

I have eaten at the Old Railroad Cafe several times and am always amazed at how good the food is. Hidden in an older part of town, many people don't even know about it. The building is from about 1880, with very very high ceilings and bricks exposed. Its quiet and a wonderful place to have a good conversation with... More
