The brisket, ribs, turkey and sausage are very flavorful and priced at a very reasonable rate - so you can get a little of everything. Plus the counter service is top notch - the staff offer you free samples of everything and they won't let you leave until you are satisfied with how it all looks, and even yell back... More

I love Rudys for breakfast, my favorite is their chopped beef tacos but everything is good! They have great bbq and their cream.corn is amazing. It's a little pricey but it's worth it. Make sure to et plenty of their famous BBQ sauce...it makes the meal!

Great place for breakfast tacos ready made or made to order. I love their bbq turkey and creamed corn. Their sauce is not quite Salt Lick or Franklin's, but still really good.

Almost always stop there before a ride because it is close to the Harley dealer where our rides start and the breakfast tacos are great.

Rudy's is always a good choice when you want decent Texas barbecue at a reasonable price. The service staff are very friendly and helpful. Even when they're busy they still nice to every customer. There's a large seating area of picnic tables which makes you feel like you're at someone's home for a picnic. They do a good job packaging... More

I was disappointed with the quality. It is popular in the area, but not my favorite. The marbled brisket is just too fatty.

I love Rudy's and I even have a Swedish friend who buy's their BBQ sauce when she visits and has had me mail it to her overseas. Everything is good here. I especially like their brisket, sausage, and creamed corn. Their creamed corn is amazing.

No visit to Austin would be complete without a trip to Rudy's for outstanding barbecue beef brisket. The Rudy's in Round Rock is no exception. The brisket, available in either lean or moist, has an excellent dry rub crust on the beef that will melt in your mouth. The moist is our favorite. Excellent sides as well. Add a piece... More

This place is really great for their famous brisket. You have to try it and also their breakfast tacos and their different options are great as well.

While not in the premier level (eg Franklin's, Black's), this is pretty consistent and they make it easy to order brisket with the amount of fat/flavor you like. Several kinds of pork ribs, turkey, chicken too. Sides are decent. My go to place when I don't want to deal with driving into Austin or Lockhart.

Thank Stu B
