My first visit to a Luby's in over a decade. The exterior is tired and dated, but we didn't have to wait at all on a recent Saturday night (6pm). Food looked and tasted fresh. Every staff person smiled and was helpful, especially the waitstaff. They were very accommodating of our two small children (and kids eat free Sat &... More

Went to the Round Rock just before 11 am for Lubys Christmas lunch. In an effort to get more people in the building to "s" into lines, waitress separated and moved all of us around. The result was confusion and disorganization. Several of us that were first in line ended up behind the last of the line. It would have... More

The food was fresh and the price was unbeatable. $4.99 for half of an entree and two sides. The serving line was slow compared to other Luby's, but what do you expect for $4.99? The staff was un-energetic and the manager walked by without saying a word to anyone. Perhaps this explains the staffs' low energy. Still, the food was... More

There are many newer places to eat in Round Rock, but do not pass by one of the true favorites that has been around for some time. Luby's offers diners a wonderful selection of salads (I like the fresh beets), meat or chicken entries (I love the fried fish or roast turkey and gravy/dressing), superb vegetable options (go for the... We haven't been to Luby's in a couple of years, so wanted to give them another try. Were we upset. I had the liver which was tasteless and hard to cut. It was only luke warm. My wife had the chicken that was very greasy and not hot.

I'm not sure what they're trying to do, they've taken tables out, a lot of empty space, not the old busy busy busy..... The food doesn't seem to be as fresh, some taste like it's been sitting for awhile.

We really enjoyed this restaurant. There was a large selection of salads, entrées, vegetables, desserts, drinks, etc. This location is fairly easy to get to by the freeway access road.

Nice cost effective lunch. Everyone in the office became regulars. Whenever we ate out for lunch, there was no debate as where to go.

It is a cafeteria, but it's a very good cafeteria. Fresh food well prepared with good service in a clean environment. That's everything you can expect in a cafeteria.

Certainly can get just about anything you want in food; I generally get a LuAnn platter of fried fish with their delicious tartar sauce, some spinach and fried okra. For mass production of food, they do a good job.
