Busy place at lunch time (arrived at 11:30 am), but seated immediately and waited on quickly. Had to wait maybe 10 minutes for our order, but very reasonable given how busy the place was during lunch. Food arrived very hot (and on extremely hot platters, so believe the waitresses when they tell you that 😜😊) and everything tasted great. Ample... More

Armenta's is a small mom and pop style cafe with pretty good food. We had their burritos (carne Assad and chicken), which weren't too bad and the salsa was good. The burritos were a little over cooked and tough to cut through the outer shell. The meat was flavorful but salty, and the guacamole was bland; it could've used some... More

I can't imagine anyone giving this place a poor review. We were told they are always busy during the lunch run so we went mid-afternoon. We're not the type that has to be seated so we just walked in, seated ourselves and were practically met at the table by our waitress ready to take our drink order. Very comfortable, cozy... More

This place has just killer burritos and enchiladas. There's a reason why you can find a place to park, and it's a small restaurant always packed. The locals recommend it. It does not disappoint.

We ate here with friends on a friday evening. Good special on buckets of beer- you get Free bean and cheese nachos which were enough that we didnt need to order anything else. Tiny place but service was fast. Would eat here again.

Never had a mexican breakfast before, and Armentas was that place very good food, and service... the building needs a makeover.

The Jaxon Special is our favorite. The portions are so generous, you can share or take home for another meal. Yum!! I ate it too fast to take a picture.😊

Armenta's is a San Angelo staple that many people could overlook if not paying attention. It is in a quaint environment but the food is unprecedented. If you like enchiladas I recommend you try this place. You won't regret.

Having tried several other Mexican restaurants in San Angelo, this place, by far, is the best Mexican food in town. Small restaurant atmosphere focused on good food and affordable prices. Definitely recommend.
