The staff goes out of their way to make the dining experience a good one. The food is good and abundant. The prices are pretty good.

I always get the (cheap!) 2-egg breakfast special and split a HALF order of biscuits and sausage gravy with my husband. We made the "mistake" of trying to split a whole order (along with the specials) the first time we were there, not realizing that Abel's biscuits are HUGE! (and light and fluffy!) I keep intending to branch out and... More

Great diner, with very, very good food. Weekend brunch is good here, had eggs Benedict that was the best I have had.

Food at Abel's Diner is always good, service is often a little slow. Prices are average for this type of cafe.

The best biscuits I've found anywhere! Try the eggs Benedict, you won't be disappointed. Often busy with a bit of a wait but well worth it.

My eating utensils were wrapped in a used napkin...boogers and nose hairs included. I was a regular. Was being the key word. Disgusting.

Lunch on a weekday. Spagetti and spinish with a green salad. All were very good. The pasta was cooked perfectly. Special mention for the spinish, very tasty. It had some onion in it. Excellent spinish. Tea also very good. Liked the pan toast.

The food has been consistently decent, like the diner food I grew up with decades ago. The chicken fried steak is terrific, and sometimes I just order 3 or 4 veggies, because everything is so fresh. Prepare to stand in line, outside, as space seems limited despite their new location. I like to go on off-hours to save wait time.

Upon being seated our server brought 4 warm yeast rolls. Delicious! We both ordered the Monday night special of chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, and a side. Everything was cooked to perfection and delicious. The only drawback for me was I would've like to substitute a side salad for the mashed potatoes and gravy. No substitutions. It was a pretty high...
