This restaurant is now named Oyster Bar. I grew up eating at this seafood restaurant. They have a location in Brownsville Tx that my family and I would go eat at. It is still as delicious as I remember it growing up. I always get...More

We've been going to this restaurant since 1970 and love it for family dining. Mainly deep fried shrimp is my favorite and they have a captains feast plate that has a little of everything plus more.

Went here for lunch and order the sampler which was for $20. The sampler included a variety of shrimp, fish, and oysters. The deep fried oyster had a funky taste to it and their water tasted really funky. It wasn't as good as how all...More

Great food, drinks, service and reasonable prices. This place also offers a full bar; highly recommend the Long Island Ice Tea.

Service was great, very friendly people. Food was good and although there wasn't a huge choice on the menu, the food we ate was delicious and well cooked. Might eat here again.

The service was good and the people were very nice, but some of the food tasted a little off. I am not sure why. It did not seem very fresh and compared to other places we ate at it would probably be at the bottom...More

This is not the newest, shiniest place you will ever visit. It has been located on South Padre Island in the same building for over 30 years. But the people are friendly, and the fish and shrimp are very good, some of the best on...More

Saw this place the first evening we were on the Island before asking anyone. We later asked and the local opinion confirmed our feelings. Food was poor, service surly and it became a joke whenever anyone asked "Where are we eating tonight."
