I love barbecue, and I can say this is the best brisket sandwich I've ever eaten! The bread was amazing and the sauce was delicious. And definitely don't forget the key lime pie! Worth the stop for sure!!
We stopped here because Big Boy's was recommended to us by people at the WASP Museum and they were spot on. The brisket sandwich was excellent - tender and tasty with just the right amount of barbecue sauce. I had the cole slaw as a side. It was good, not soggy with mayonnaise like some barbecue places. Stopped by on way to Dallas and really enjoyed it! You have to get these three items which were my favorite: "my ribs", spare ribs, and key lime pie. Some of my favorite ribs ever. Owner was so hospitable, let us see the pits and the burn barrel outback. Food is all reasonably priced and won't break the bank.
It's a rare occasion that I give anywhere a five star review, but this place is entirely deserving. Simple Texas barbecue at its best, there's no reason not to stop.
Wayland and his crew can put on the feed! The chopped brisket sandwich is my favorite by far. The sourdough bread is amazing as is the rest of it. I really like the way they have fixed up the inside. Nice place to eat.
We enjoyed good ribs and barbecue chicken. The coleslaw was crisp and commendable. there were home-made desserts and a beer garden. Clean restrooms! Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, though.

I saw a review posted inside that showed the restaurant had been rated, "Top 50 BBQ Restaurants in Texas" and was looking forward to the meal. I ordered brisket... More
Best BBQ anywhere around these parts. Now they have expanded and added a pub like bar to the side. When ordering food there are many choices. All smoked daily by the owner and team. If you want a simple BBQ sandwich try the jalapeño bun. It's great.
This place serves up some pretty decent barbeque but there are some drawbacks. First, right when you walk in the door you are met with a confusing fence that corrals you to a small window directly ahead where you can order. Once you order, you can go find a table on the other side of the fences if you are... More
