There are not too many restaurants in and around Terlingua, but the one associated with the the El Dorado hotel serves up good-tasting options, at reasonable prices.

This isn't a "local" place so they were excited to meet the out of Town'ers. The food was fantastic. The server was very patient in explaining the items on the menu and giving advice. We were very welcomed.

Go here if you want food from a Syscos can or freezer bag. Priced reasonable but food quality was poor. Service was inattentive and slow.

On a recent stay in Terlingua, we found this restaurant at the entrance to Terlingua ghosttown. Had no idea what to expect, but were very well pleased, my wife with her chile rellenos and me with pork tostadas. Very moderate prices. We came back another time and they had live music. Most of clientele was locals or folks in town... More

Not a fancy restaurant by any means, but good food and good service. It was not crowded at all when we were there and opted for this over the long wait at the Starlight Theatre. We were not disappointed with the food.

We stopped at High Sierra for dinner. It was pretty slow, but picked up quickly. Place filled up with locals as well as travelers. Husband had the 'black & blue salad' which he really enjoyed. He also had the club sandwich. Huge and delish. I had a wrap and liked it a lot. Bar was populated with local gents, looking... More

Stopped for lunch. Had great chili (beanless), and burger and tostadas. All great with cold beer. Great root beer, too. Service great, comfortable place. Another great Terlingua stop.

Good food, more mexican style. Steak handcut quite expensive. Service is sometimes too slow but people are nice and smily. Nice decoration.

We visited this place twice, first time the meal was tasty, second time both meals needed to be returned. Had their award winning Chile but was disappointed... manager was extremely eager to please us, but difficult when the food is cooked and kept in "warming trays" and my second serving of chile was smaller since it was the "last they...
