We weren't crazy about this place. We tried the roast beef, philly cheese steak sandwich, chicken & dumplings, catfish and chicken chimichanga. everything was just average. Not a lot of flavor. Service was not great and the restaurant had a very strong bleach odor.

There is ample parking in front of the restaurant. We entered and had to wait a while before being shown to our seats. The server came over and was not pleasant. We... More

First rate service, excellent preparation of simple ingredients. Every morsel was excellent for a very reasonable price. One of those little roadside gems that you would not be likely to even notice, much less stop in.

I really don't like to give bad reviews but hopefully the owner will embrace my feedback and make some necessary changes. Here we go.... PROS: -Very sweet waitress -My husband's chorizo and eggs was tasty and luckily he gave me a few bites! CONS: -Fried egg was raw when I cut into it -Toast was cold and didn't come pre-buttered... No big box servings on this menu, it is authentic home style cooking. They welcome their guests with a basket of warm, crisp tortillas and hot sauce. Menu selections range from Mexican food to home style Texas. My family is particularly fond of the chicken fried steak with cream gravy. On Friday nights they offer all you can eat steak... More

Nothing out of the ordinary local food. Quality is average. For, the town, it is a good place to go.

When my husband and I travel, we always try to find a local place to eat. We happened upon this one and so glad we did. The prices were very reasonable. The service was good and the staff friendly. I would recommend this eatery to those who enjoy home cooked type meals.
