Friendly folk. Great bbq, not greasy. Lot of variety. knik-knack shop smithsonian. Food and crafts. Diesel truck parking and fuel island. Wooden furniture bit uncomfortable. somewhat limited seating. No reservations..just go enjoy!

Ate bbq at many stops on our 1600 mile trip. This had the best barbeque, we wish we had some as good as this at home. The travel stop it was in was a great travel stop too.

We ate here on a Thursday afternoon while passing through the area. We were not sure what we would get at a travel stop/convenience store. BBQ was good. I had a brisket sandwich and my husband had a sausage sandwich. All meat was flavorful and tender. We would eat here again.

Daughter talked me into buying fudge as we stopped for a gas and restroom break. We bought small portions of 3 flavored to share with 4 of us. When we got in the car they all tasted like they had been there since last Christmas. Not good. But the restrooms were clean and nice so not all bad.

How is this place not packed day and night? My father stopped here on the way back from the NCAA Football National Championship game and raved about it. We decided to stop at it on our way home from AT&T Stadium and HE WAS RIGHT! Look, Texas Brisket is different than Alabama chopped pork and different from Kansas City ribs.... More

We stopped in for dinner and had brisket with sides of fried okra and green beans. They also give you a souvenir cup for your drink. Delicious and a lot of food for the average price range.

Leaving Alabama game and decided to stop in for lunch! Food and service are both outstanding! Brisket was delicious had the broccoli salad and potato wedges as sides. Tried the blackberry cobbler and the apricot fried pies (tasted very close to what my grandmother used to make). My only problem was I didn't get more meals here! Highly recommend -... More

Great BBQ. Brisket and ribs tender and flavorful. Many, many sides to choose from, two sauces to pick, spicy or mild. The mild is good, not too sweet or too much vinegar. Service is quick as you go through the line.

If you are "on the road" do stop in this little srore! They have great snacks for your road trip. Be sure to sample the homemade fried pie! I enjoyed my Wasabi peas too! Very clean, friendly service and the desserts and candies are very appealing!

Welcome to Texas is the first thing I heard when I walked through the door. So right away you know they know how to take care of people. And, when I put that pulled pork with BBQ sauce in my mouth, I wanted to curl up with a pillow and thank God for bringing me to this place. Yummy, yummy!... More
