Very reasonably priced local short-order cooking. Breakfast, burgers, sandwiches and soups, with homemade pies. Service was fast and friendly, food was fresh and good. Decor is formica and old chairs. Loved it.

Great food with a real warmth from the local crowd. I had breakfast there, and lots of good conversation with the "regulars" even though I was from out of town.

This is a place that those who live and work around town like to frequent. Kind of like "Cheers"...everyone knows your name. Run by a passel of sisters and their offspring, this is a good breakfast and lunch spot.

If it wasn't for the staff the rating would be lower . They even have a prayer request list at the front which says a lot . The food and the furniture both need updating . I keep going for the hospitality.

My chicken fried steak was one of those prefrozen patties, and the fries were crinkle cut straight from the freezer as well. Their pie looks good, though I've never tried it. I won't be back to try it. It was very disappointing.

This place is what most would call a hole in the wall, or a dump. It's one of those places that I always see Robert Irvine on Restaurant Impossible fixing up because it looks like it has been stuck in the 1980s. Has a VERY LIMITED menu. Pretty much burgers, a few sandwiches, some chili, and a couple other things... More

Driving around the downtown/midtown area of Tyler, and decided to stop by... have seen the place as long as I can remember, and just never dropped in... Today we did, and we're warmly greeted by a very nice lady, now this is my kind of place..... small, mom and pop feel, old pictures on the wall, well we placed our... More

It is a small place...what some would call a hole in the wall...but the food is good and the wait staff is very friendly. Give it a shot at breakfast when the coffee is hot and the eggs are good and fresh. It has definitely become a Tyler staple.

Food was sooooo good!! We had a cheeseburger and a bowl of chili rice with cheese (which ive never heard of or had before) and then topped it off with one of their homemade slices of pie. We choose the chocolate and it was the best ive ever eaten. You order and pay at counter and do not take credit... More
