I couldn't really tell if this was a tourist trap or not. The outside has certainly been refurbished... not the inside. Had a double and tots (who has tots these days!). Food was cheap and came out quick. Mostly though, it was mouth-wateringly authentic and delicious. And oh my so many flavors of ice cream! Couldn't believe it wasn't crowded... More

We stopped here for lunch the other day and ordered burgers and shakes - which were amazing. I mean the burgers were nothing special - just normal and good. And there was a wide selection of shake/malt flavors, all of which we tried were delicious! Was glad they had some outdoor seating because 1. it was beautiful outside and 2.... More

I enjoyed visiting the historic burger joint and it's unique location. I had read about it. The burger and onion rings were nothing special but the restaurant was clean & the staff friendly. I doubt I go back but there are no regrets in going to see a landmark.

Rushed over here for a sweet nightcap after a long day on the road, and had handmade shakes that were absolutely delicious. We got here just a few minutes before they closed at 10pm and the staff were wonderful and happy to be there. They have a typical diner menu that I'm sure is also very good, but we just... More

Walked in at closing time. Chairs were put up, mopping floors. Lady behind the counter said come on in, what can we get you. Ordered a pineapple milkshake while she explained they'd been in business since 1948 in the same location. Great little piece of Americana.

Great Burgers and Sides. You will not go wrong, eating here. Get after it! While playing sports in High School and after the game, our bus driver would pull up here and all the players would eat Burgers/Fries. This was 1961 and this place has hung in there and still is a good place to get a Burger. Sit in... More

If an old fashioned cheeseburger and shake is what you're after, this is the place to find it! We got there early, so we got a table, but it's easy to see why they still have the old fashioned walk up window because the place was soon packed. Having the burger paired with handmade onion rings makes it even better!

Good burger, great onion rings, and awesome shakes. My kids loved it. We got there early and got a table right away, but by the time we left it was standing room only.
