Don't miss lunch at Jake's. In addition to the food and service being excellent, for those who grew up in the 50's and 60's, this is a great walk down memory lane. The memorabilia, mostly automobile and old gas stations. is incredible. For example, the seats in the booths are made from the front seats from cars like the 57... More

It was very busy but we didn't wait too long for anything. We had a variety of food and it was all great! The banana pudding was the highlight and I would go back just for it. My son loved his food coming out in this cool car and really liked looking at all of the decorations.

Jake's is one of my go to business lunch stops. The lunch special today was outstanding in both quality and value.

Found Jake's quite by accident, and what a pleasant surprise it was. The food was reasonably priced, and tasty. The salad was made at the table and very good. The family style service made for a very crowded table. And the eatery seemed short on waiters, but it was the Sunday after church crowd. Loved the atmosphere, location, and sentimental... More

Unique retro dinner with above average food. The chicken fried chicken was juicy and fried to perfection. The chicken spaghetti was seasoned nicely. The broccoli salad was the best we have ever had. We enjoyed the old cars and toys from the 50's. The staff was outstanding. We will return.

What a cute place to eat. Decorated with adorable old cars, booths, vintage car related signs, lots of great 50's decor items. Food was average, desserts excellent . Worth the trip just for the atmosphere. Great family friendly place and inexpensive prices. Would recommend a visit while in Waco, the kids will love it!!!❤️🚦🏁

My husband and I went here to get hamburgers but found that they did. It have hamburgers in the evening. We were pleasantly surprised with dinner. I got porkchops and he got the hamburger steak. They served the veggies family style. Everything was fresh and homemade. I was pleased with the surprise and bet if we go back for lunch... More

Quirky atmosphere, good service, excellent food and wonderful desserts! We highly recommend the chicken fried chicken, broccoli salad and coconut cake. I just wonder why they were already out of the daily special when we got there just 30 minutes after they opened.

We visited this restaurant at 11:30AM and it was already busy. I had the Blue Plate Special which was Meatloaf today. The two sides were fresh tomato slices and broccoli salad. The food was really good. The sweet tea was not too sweet and just right. Add the good service and our experience was pleasant. Parking was a little tight... More

This restaurant has consistently good food, great service and delicious homemade deserts. Even though they're typically very busy, they get you in fast and food is never delayed. Great decor and friendly staff.
