There were two choices for us for dinner in Delta, The Rancher and McDonalds, we choose The Rancher because I have not eaten at a Mc for over 20 years. In retrospect I would do McDonalds if I had it to do over. I will not go into all the details, but three different orders and three negative reactions. Let's... More

Late breakfast. Diner suggested bacon. Eggs cooked properly. Potatoes cooked properly. Bacon tasty. Berry jam out of squeeze bottle - a first for me but good idea. I'd go again.

Traveling through western Utah, restaurants were few and far between. At a gas station in Delta, several people recommended The Rancher Cafe for lunch. Besides the typical lunch menu, they serve breakfast all day and the four of us all got omelets. We all were pleased with our different choices. It's an older building but clean and good service.

It was very busy when we were there and that may have been part of the problem. The service was slow and confused. The meals we're decent, the facility was getting run down. I would go again but on a less crowded night

We had two dinners here and two breakfasts, all satisfactory. One night is was a rib eye and New York strip, and the rib eye was particularly good. The other night it was pork chops and salmon. One night we had beer, the other we brought in a bottle of wine and paid a modest corkage fee. The accompaniments were... More

I love old time small town cafes. This one's a classic. The old guys sitting at the counter solving the problems of the world; the waitress who's been there for 30 years who probably knows what they will order long before they ever tell her; the pictures on the walls etc. We stopped here for breakfast about 8:30 a.m. It... Our experience differed from some of the other reviews, probably because we arrived for breakfast after 9:30. The service was prompt and the waitress pleasant, and the food was homemade and quite delicious. The decor is dated but brought back lots of memories.

Delta is a little town, very few places to eat ~ So, we decided to stop at Rancher Cafe for dinner. Place seemed to have a 'little' town feeling, thought it might be a family run good home cooking! Well, it is not...far from it. The waitress was nice. We decided to have some soup, that is when we saw... More

If you're looking for an authentic cafe of a certain age, The Rancher is for you. It's a well-worn place and one that has no intention of remodeling. Reluctantly I agreed to try breakfast there. My husband had pancakes, eggs and bacon. I ordered hashbrowns. The pancakes were huge and delicious. The plate of potatoes was also huge and tastey.... More
