Cafe Rio has a very loyal following in Utah. My Sister comes to visit from Texas and they always head to Cafe Rio. It's an assembly line type of operation where they make your food in front of you while you direct them on what ingredients to add to your food. The pork or child verde burritos are a hit... More

For a first timer it is a little difficult figuring out what to select off the menu, especially with the smell of fresh made tortillas while waiting in line. I opted for the salad with grilled chicken which was on the healthier side and still came with a tortilla. It was a great choice! The freshness of the romaine, cilantro,... More

Can always count on the quality here.. Price seems to be creeping up, but the family loves this place. Drive up is a breeze..

We love eating at Cafe Rio. It's our go to place when we can't decide what to eat at night. I order from my app and they are really fast, around 15 mins and no standing in line. Bonus, the app keeps track of my points! Our location is Quarry Bend restaurant. Give it a try!

Cafe Rio is a great choice no matter which store you choose - But the one on Taylorsville (5400 S. and Redwood) is exceptional !!!!! With the exception of one full-service Mexican restaurant, I cannot name another Mexican restaurant I enjoy as much as this one. Excellent food, service, portions, prices, etc!

Is there no humanity? Clearly not at Cafe Rio. The moment I walk into a Cafe Rio, anxiety ensues. It's always loud, crowded, tables messy and there's a long, winding line to face. Then once it's my turn to order, I can only expect to be barked at and rushed through the conveyor belt of options. The worst is when... More

I like spicy, flavorful Mexican food and Cafe Rio is not that. Beef burrito was just too sweet and most of the flavor was in the tortilla. Not my kind of food. Also, the line was way to long to get food I found to be below average. Go to Costa Vida or Barbacoa in Draper is you want this... More

The service at this restaurant is slower than other fast food places I have visited. I think Costa Vida is better and is not such a loud environment. The parking at this location sucks too

Ok. First of all this is fast food. Don't expect a waiter or waitress to take your order and have quiet private dining. So if you are ok with crowds, waiting in line to order your food and noise in the dining area you will be just fine. The food is great! Definitely one of my favorite "Utah" Mexican places.... More
