After a tiring week of hiking through Bryce and Zion, I was really craving a meal that hadn't been cooked over a fire. Cowboy Blues really hit the spot! We ordered the Queso Fundido, a burger and a pulled pork sandwich- all were delicious and really hit the spot! We washed them down with a few very tasty margaritas. We... More

In mid-Dec, this was the only place open for beer & burgers. We visited two nights, both times a good experience, friendly staff, good pub food. Clean & tidy. Closing time in mid-Dec 8:00PM. Pretty much what you would expect of a small town western pub.

We each ordered the shredded pork sandwiches and margaritas. The margaritas had no discernable alcohol taste, just some kind of mix. Not worth the price of $6.50. The sandwiches had about four inches of shredded pork piled on top of a bun with some BBQ sauce. Too much meat and not enough sauce.

Although we have visited Escalante in the past, we had never actually heard of or been to Cowboy Blues. We were pleasantly surprised with our experience here. We ordered the Queso appetizer with homemade chips. It was delicious! My husband ordered the draft on tap and it was perfectly cold. Both of us ordered the burger and enjoyed the customer... More

We only ate at Cowboy Blues one time, on our last evening in Escalante, and I always feel I can't give a fully accurate review unless I've eaten at a place more than once, so please take that into consideration. What I can say is that we were a group of 8 that came in for dinner. We were in... More

I like their atmosphere and food. Service is good. Love the pulled pork sandwich and jalapeno poppers. Sometimes there is life music.

We were in Escalante 2 nights and ate here both nights. Great food. Had the Hanger Steak the first night and it was top notch.

Was short drive from the B&B we stayed at (though the town is small so everything is close). Jalapeno poppers were really good! Jalapeno martini (my first) exceeded our expectation. Burgers were just so so. A little disappointed in that. Otherwise pleased.

The joke is, they are the only establishment in Escalante that serves margaritas! Not to take anything away from them, they were good margaritas! The food was excellent, my wife had the pulled pork and stated it was one of the best pulled pork she's had. My son and I both had burgers and they were excellent! We also had... More
