Amazing atmosphere hence two stars. Food is all bellow average. The building is great, but I've NEVER had anything there that I've ever craved going back for and plenty of things I'd never order again.

Been here a few times before. Took my wife out for dinner and enjoyed our time there. Good food and service from seating to leaving. Great friendly staff. At the front there is a candy counter and ice cream parlor. Appears to be an older...More
I've been knowing this place forever... The issue is that I did not see any evolution in th epast 18 years and that the place looks used and old.... low level food and service just ok... Avoid this place !
Fun place to visit, like stepping back in history! DW and I both had steaks, both where good but not like the best thing ever. (looked like they were cook on a flat top so they were not "pretty") Bread was amazing, salad was average....More
Very historic but a bit rundown. Needs a face lift but keep the character. Great sundaes but other food poor. Would see for historic value but don't eat there.

We come often to the Bluebird for reasonably priced and good food. Much wood paneling, which has been there for many years. The old-fashioned soda fountain is a definite relic from the past. Quite a large restaurant, with side rooms for groups. Average menu with...More
This is a good and affordable place to eat out. It is not gourmet high-end, but neither are the prices. The current owners have diligently maintained the historic character of the restaurant and are obviously attentive to the food preparation. The service was excellent, and...More
