Very good food with typical Park City pricing (expensive), but you don't go to a restaurant like this and expect anything else. We had the macadamia nut encrusted halibut and the wagyu beef (steak and eggs). It was very good. For dessert we had the chocolate molten cake and it was delicious. Service was great and the food came out quite quickly (maybe a little too quickly between salad and entree), but overall it lived up to the high reviews.

My husband and I had a reservation (a must) and were seated in the main dining room just outside of the glass sunroom. The room is beautiful and so pleasing to the eye. Our server was kind and very helpful, with suggestions for dinks and entrees. We both had delicious drinks and food. The beet salad is so tangy yummy and the lobster bisque divine! Our entrees were perfection. We dined during the earlier part of the evening since it was the only reserved spot we could get but the pace was not rushed and we enjoyed almost 2 full hours for our meal start to finish. There were all sorts of people- dressed up couples, parents with multiple young kids, people just done skiing, you name it. This was such an enjoyable evening and to be able to look out over the snow covered balconies of Main Street made it perfect. I also think the prices were on par for the quantity and quality of the food for any upscale resort area. So many mentions of pricey restaurants in Park City. Let’s face it, if you can afford to ski here, you can afford a dinner on Main Street. Thanks for a great evening. Highly recommend!

Pretty pricey restaurant and food was pretty good but not sure it was worth the price. We had the perogies appetizer which were quite good but only had 3 perogies. We then had the short rib and salmon. Short rib came on what the server said was a hot plate which had me thinking the food would be hot too. But no, food was lukewarm. I guess they heated the plates but not sure why of only putting warm food on them. The short rib which was stated as 12 hour braised was fairly tender but not fall off the bone which is what it should have been. It was accompanied by bland risotto and an ok crusted eggplant. Salmon dish was well received. Overall not terribly impressed with the food given the nice looking restaurant and high prices.

Unfortunately, this was the place we were looking forward to dining at the most during our trip and we were underwhelmed. We appreciate the host/hostess working to accommodate us at an earlier time and maybe that attributed to our disappointing experience. It started off good with our friendly waitress and the apple cider cocktail and the buffalo tartare. The focaccia and butter were delicious, but the amuse from the chef was supposedly pork, but tasted fishy. It went downhill from here. I ordered the ahi tuna and the risotto was so salty I could not eat it. My friend's entrée was equally as salty (she ordered the center cut filet). We both left a majority of our entrees untouched. Our waitress disappeared for about 45 minutes during this time. A food runner/busboy, who was very sweet, came and took our plates, but no one asked if there was a problem with our meals. We opted not to have dessert at that point. Also, the live music was so melancholy and sleepy. Overall, an expensive and disappointing meal.

The most exquisite meal. We sat by the window looking out on Main Street (perfect to the start of a milestone birthday celebration for my husband). The food and service puts Riverhorse a cut above anything else you can find in Park City. We went meat heavy as that is clearly a feature of the menu. We first enjoyed the land appetizer, a trio quail leg lollipops, pork potstickers, and waygu beef bites. I had the entree of wild game - also a trifecta of Buffalo, bison, and elk. My husband started his theme of ribeye steaks. We switched our main sides as I loved their sweet potatoes and creamed spinach. The waiter was attentive, firm with recommendations with strong knowledge of the menu, and checked in to meet our needs. Our only regret, no room for dessert, though the cupcake to celebrate they provided was insanely good. The bill was accompanied by a pepita nut brittle, a little too sticky for my tastes but a nice wrap up. Cocktails and wines were unique and not the typical list you find in restaurants. And for the non-drinker at the table, cheers for excellent mocktails, as well...something that should be standard anywhere in Utah, but isn't.

My husband and I heard Riverhorse was the best restaurant in Park City so we made a reservation to try it. It seems to be the place to go or to be seen because it was crowded very early. Atmosphere is nice but it is loud, it was nice to have a musician playing but a little hard to hear. There was a party in the back room and they kind of mingled in the dining room making things a little louder and busier. Our server was excellent. We received an amuse bouche of mushroom bolognese over a creamy polenta that was delicious, I could have had a plate of it for dinner! The focaccia with herb butter they serve is very good too. My husband had the burrata salad with fig dressing and it was fantastic. I had Oysters Rockefeller that were not at all like the ususal (?) Oysters Rockefeller and not very tasty. Some weird flavors. For dinner I had the Alaskan Halibut with mashed potatoes and broccolini. My husband ordered the 20 oz bone in Ribeye that was very tough. That was our biggest complaint, if you're going to charge $80 for that dish make sure you get good quality beef. My husband knows his beef so that was our biggest disappointment. Good cocktail and wine list selections. We tried their sangria, it was tasty.

I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner here. The menu was diverse without being overwhelming. The wines by the glass selection was excellent, as were the non-alcoholic cocktails for my friend. She loved the halibut and I thought the cauliflower dish & scallops with red curry sauce were both excellent. I just wish there was more sauce for the cauliflower (truly delicious). The citrus dessert plate couldn't have been better - amazing. Greg was personable and very accommodating of our request to modify the accompaniments on the entree

We were recieved nicy by a person in the first floor then we went upstairs and were reciwved by a lady that told us our table was not ready. We qent to the bar which is horrible but we were greatelyqttwnfed by an excelent barman. After that we went to the main salon qe orderer very simple things from the menu they took almost an hour to bring the food and nothing was any better than average. In conclusion this restaurant is bad the waiter and hostesses treat everyone like they doing you a favour i am saying its terrible because for a two person dinner we payed more than 300 dlls and didnt drink anything.

Having eaten here several times over the past five years I have to say they have lost their way. Our server, Rowdy, was really the only saving grace of the evening. Other staff asked questions but then failed to act in the responses, food was poorly prepared (two wasted cowboy ribeyes that the kitchen couldn’t get medium rare figured out) and the wine list is riddled with vintages that they don’t have yet they want to charge the same price for inferior years that they do have. Pine Cone Ridge down the street is far better.

Please see my review from January 2015 as this will be a ditto and confirmation of the continuing greatness of this restaurant. Again I had the wild game trio after a quail appetizer and just as in 2015 the buffalo could be cut with a fork. What makes this place unique is the complimentary flavors offered that brings everything together. All fresh and innovative with emphasis on a balance of flavor the enhances the main food served. The quail had a great fruity sauce that blew me away. Reservations are an absolute must and should be made months in advance. The place is always loud and crowded but service was good and friendly. The wine list is smaller from what I remember before. Prices are around 3X retail and there are some OK choices but I recommend you bring your own and pay the moderst corkage. It is a shame that their wine list does not really complement the chef's innovative cuisine. But in the end the food here is the best you will find in the area and I will continue to come yearly

My son really wanted a nice dinner for our skiing trip so he booked a spot 3 months in advance. I looked at the menu and thought it was overpriced but I don’t mind if the food is really good. I’m a good cook so I gauge restaurants by my ability. Could I make a dish and could I make it better. Our small plates arrived very late and were not hot. They were okay. I could do better. Our entrees varied with most people satisfied but my trout was mushy, bland and smothered with pomegranate arils. I could do much better. It definitely was not fresh trout. I didn’t finish it. Since we were a party of five, we were seated in a very loud, soulless room. Felt like a small banquet hall. Service was ok but our waitress was young and not polished. Could have been a great memory but now it’s a bad one.

This was our best dining experience in Park City. We were a party of 10 with a reservation and were promptly seated upstairs in front of the Piano. Service was quick as we had cocktails and ordered wines which were promptly served. We ordered various dishes and were pleasantly surprised at the how great the food is at Riverhorse. I started with the Mushroom Salad which I found to be delicious and very creative with different flavors and sauces. After I had Salmon with Eggplant and again, very original dish attractively served and absolutely delicious. I have been to a lot of restaurants and appreciate the creative dishes. The chef is not just going through the paces, this is really well thought out food combined beautifully. We tried three different wines from the list and enjoyed them all. A great dinner!

We went here on a recommendation, and it was spot on. Menu was very promising, some drinks were a tad over priced ($24 for an old-fashioned, though it was a phenomenal one), but this is definitely on a list to go again. The appetizer was the perogie, great taste and presentation. Two mains were a 7oz filet and the trio of wild game, which was fantastic. Each piece prepared differently and cooked perfectly. Dessert was a fresh local peach crumble and your standard lava cake. Perfect finish.

Was excited to eat here given the many positive reviews online. Sad to say that my experience was just OK and I won’t be coming back. Food was just OK. The amuse bouche was good, and unfortunately set expectations that the rest of the meal would be delicious. The ahi tuna was under seasoned. The pierogies were ok but quickly turned mushy. Ordered the 20oz steaks. The steaks were cooked well; had a nice char on the outside. What I didn’t like was the topping on the steak - sautéed sun dried tomatoes and mushrooms. The sun dried tomatoes distinctly changed the taste of the dish and detracted versus enhanced the flavors. Besides, didn’t sun dried tomatoes go out of fashion in the eighties?

The place is nice, great entertainment and wonderful ambient! But the food it’s amateurish for a place of that caliber. My son received flaccid and greasy fried potatoes, and cold breaded chicken. The breading came off and the flavor was terrible. The adults food was average and the food came in warm and not hot as expected. Specially the lobster bisque. From all the places we ate at Park City, this one was the most expensive and less impressive when it comes to food flavors and quality. The service in general was ok! Unfortunately this was the night of our anniversary celebration. I was not happy but we’ll… it is what it is!
