The upstairs of this Main Street restaurant is very attractive, but despite having a reservation we were seated in the downstairs (i.e. basement) which did not have the ambiance of the street level. Except for the vegetarian option, entrees start at $38 (for chicken), which is higher than or comparable to the very best and most special restaurants in Park... More

We booked Chimayo for a dinner with friends and were very disappointed. With a reservation several weeks in advance, we were seated in the basement near the bathrooms. The basement had none of the ambiance or atmosphere of the upstairs but we decided to make the best of it. Next we were told we'd have to order any appetizers with... More

I have been to Park city about a half dozen times. It was our first trip to this restaurant(tough to get reservations)and it was worth it.

This is a first class restaurant from service to atmosphere to the food. The food was outstanding, the portions were great and the presentations were beautiful

We went to dinner after some time around the shops on Main Street. Food was great and staff too. The portions are huge, so share with someone if you usually don't eat too much.

Having reviewed the various reviews we were looking forward to adventurous Southern style cuisine. The limited menu certainly gave the impression of uniqueness. The Queso Fundido (Mexican twist on Savoir Fondue) is tasty but not $22 in value. The Elk skewer on Sugarcane in coffee glaze was a great idea but poor quality Elk (too chewy) disappointed. On the mains,... More

My family and I ski Deer valley each year and love Park City. This year we brought our grown kids along and had to take them to Chimayo. It was terrific, as usual. Excellent food and a great and efficient waitstaff!! Don't miss this local gem.

Terrific ambiance and very romantic. More of a Tex mex menu than Mexican. Had the fajitas and was good. Drinks were typical margaritas and a few additional ones. Service was friendly and reasonable. Prices on the higher side, even for Park City, but plentiful plate of food.

After skiing, the hearty but tasty food served at this busy restaurant on Main Street is worth a visit. It was one of our two best meals in Park City during our week there. Reservations are definitely advised. The drink list has some creative cocktails and wine list is Spanish oriented and broken down by region of Spain with helpful... More

Step through the door, and you’ll think you stepped across the border. Festive lighting, wrought iron detail, Southwestern throw pillows in each booth and an authentic Mexican tile floor create this fabulous illusion. Start with a signature Chimayo Margarita, a local’s favorite. Don’t miss the dipping sauce that’s served with the fresh baked bread. Favorites include the Crown Roast of Barbecue Spareribs with a chipotle and caramelized pineapple glaze served with buttermilk whipped potatoes and Dos Equis beer-battered onion rings. The Mexican Chocolate Fondue for four served with a tureen of melted espresso-cinnamon chocolate with dipping favorites of cinnamon sugar churros, peanut butter cookies, Mexican wedding cookies, banana, pineapple, and seasonal berries is sure to finish this delectable experience with a warm cozy feeling.
