Fun way to spend an evening in Park City. All the tables are good, so don't stress about where you sit. During the sled ride up and down the mountain be sure to get a seat facing down the mountain so you can see all of Park City beneath you.

The Viking Yurt is an evening experience! I wish it was available year-round!! It consists of a ride up the mountain from the base of the Park City Mountain Resort via a large sleigh pulled by a snowcat. While the night may be cold, you are covered by thick blankets they provide and the views and stars are amazing. You... More

Had lunch here while skiing this week. The resturant is on the park city mountain in a yurt! Just ski in and have a great lunch that is faster than any of the other mountain resturants. The view is magnificent and you can sit inside or lounge in a chair outside and eat your lunch. The menu is small but... More

The Viking Yurt is truly a must do experience in Park City. You will need to follow the very basic instructions that are explained to you when making your reservation. They are simple like wearing proper footwear, showing up on time, etc. Your experience begins when you hop on the sleigh which is towed by a snow cat. The sleigh... More

The adventure begins with a sleigh ride up to the yurt which is on a ski slope. It's cold but they provide a lap blanket (Don't forget your hat. I did and regretted it) and it gets you ready for the warmed drink waiting for you at your seat in the yurt on your arrival. Seating is assigned by family/group... More

That was a fun read, thank you! We do have loaner hats in the snowcat so sorry you didn't mention you were chilled. But it is highly recommended to all guests to bring hats and gloves even though we have record high temps right now. Going up in the sunshine makes it easy to forget a hat. More

Enjoyed lunch and several breaks during skiing at this quaint and warm spot at the top of the Crescent Express lift. The food was very good, the service excellent and the experience just great.

Found a hair in my soup. The service was just 'ok'... not near what you'd expect for the price. i had to ask for tea multiple times, then they brought hot water, and took another 20 min to get a teabag. The ride up the mountain was nice as was the ride back. As for the experience AT the yurt,... More

We had such a fun experience! A good friend and I went. The instructions for meeting up with the group was simple and clear. The food was excellent, though the helpings were so large I was super full at the end. No fears about going hungry! The aquivit was amazing in the cider--and great presentation. We loved how the experience... More
