This is the most tasty frozen custard anywhere! Order a Concrete. The interior could be spiffed up a bit but the custard is always excellent! Nielsen's is a Utah onstitution!

I ordered a chocolate almond concrete yogurt and my son ordered a cookie dough yogurt. My son has severe allergies to nuts. They did not clean the mixer in between mixing! Luckily he noticed quickly that there were nuts in his yogurt. We are not angry, but we think that the employees should be trained, because nuts are the number... More

My family and I were headed back to Colorado after a spectacular 9-day trip which took us to LA, Death Valley, Valley of Fire and now St. George. With 6 more hours of driving, we all decided it was time for a break. We all love a frozen treat in the afternoon so we quickly checked to see what was... More

To enjoy this custard depends on your budget. Well it is good custard but really quite expensive. They make what is called a "concrete" which is a thick shake that you can add toppings in. They have basic vanilla or chocolate custard. For one concrete its 5.50. Add the toppings and Shazam...My two kids came out with 16$ bill for... More

If you haven't had frozen yogurt you have missed out on something better than ice cream. A great mid-afternoon or evening treat.

This review is about frozen custard. It's simple: while you are in St George or Bountiful Utah, ALWAYS come here to get delicious frozen custard. When you have Nielsen's Frozen Custard, forget about ice cream. They have standards every day, like vanilla and chocolate. I ALWAYS get caramel cashew. If they have it as soft serve, that's delicious. If not,... More

Stooped here after dinner while touring the area's national parks. Must say that the frozen custard was just what we needed after a warm day in the sun. Not much ambiance but then that's not why we visited the place. Good place for a quick sweet bite.

If you like frozen custard, Neilsen's has about the best in town. Not many flavors, though they add a special one each day. Prices are reasonable. Being from NJ, I'm used to ice cream rather than soft custard found here in St George.

We come here every visit. Their frozen custard concrete is super tasty after a day in the sun. Try the raspberry. Service is friendly and generally efficient depending on how busy they are.

We are frozen custard snobs. Good frozen custard is almost nonexistent today. They have a sign claiming they make the best milk shakes in Utah. We were dubious and only tried a cone. Outstanding! As we were eating we saw them making a milk shake. It looked pretty darn good. They have a walk-up window and inside seating We will... More
