Try everything. Mac and cheese. Bar b q beef. Sandwiches. Breads. Pastries. What this NY-worthy deli is doing off 91 in Vermont, I don't know. But we always go back. Ps. No bathrooms.

Great food and service. They have good parking and nice new public restrooms at their store across the road.

Inviting from the outside, and brimming over with delicious foods inside - the Vermont Country Deli is a "must" whether you're just passing through or live in Brattleboro. Many specialties available for every palate. Lots of items Vermont sourced. The cooking and baking is mostly done on site, or locally. Stop by & stock up for whatever your day may... More

I live here and I stop by the Vermont Country Deli at least once a week. The take-and-bake macaroni and cheese is my son's favorite, the pastries are indulgent, and the staff is wonderful.

Hot food selection off the charts - bacon mac and cheese to die for. Sweets looked so good, but had no room. Maple pulled pork sandwich was a monster. Beef and bean chili terrific. If I lived here, I would visit every day until I'd tried everything.

The food was quite good. Nice selection and good quality ingredients. We've stopped here a few times on our way through Vermont and it's always very good...although these aren't Vermont price...more like city prices.

Not a restaurant, and not a traditional deli, but great food to take away. We have begun to make this stop when we are in the area. Lots of prepared foods and baked goods. Sandwiches made to order or to be picked up at the annex next door. I love the mac and cheese. Not sure how we missed this... More

Average deli, long lines, no indoor seating, and very limited parking. Stop by to try based on reviews. Order four sandwiches and jerk chicken mac & cheese. One sandwich had too much mayo, bread on two of them was bland, one sandwich was great. Jerk mac and cheese was good but not cheap, total order $50 all told with drinks.

I stopped here for a sandwich at lunch time when driving from NH to NY. The deli is nice with a good selection of meats, cheeses and home made breads. The store was fun too. But because of the time I stopped, it was packed with tourists on their way home from vacation who couldn't make up their minds and... More

First of all, I am rating it average but have been there more than once and frankly would stop there again because a) it's convenient and b) everything there is pretty decent. It is, however, overpriced and I've never eaten anything there that has been as good as it's been described. I grew up in Northern Vermont and now live... More
