On our way to Bellows Falls, VT, my husband decided to stop in Brattleboro for a quick lunch. I checked TripAdvisor reviews, and we decided to try the Whetstone Station. We were impressed by the lively atmosphere, and quick service, even though there were a lot of customers. One of the thing we liked about the restaurant was its attention... More

Great atmosphere right on the river. I would like to come back when it is warm and sit on the deck. Not a huge selection of beers, but a few good choices. My short rib mac and cheese was filling, but under seasoned and greasy. My friend said his poutine was very good. We both ordered burgers and fries. Very... More

Stopped here to eat on our way home from Mt. Snow. Our meals were delicious and the View of the river was beautiful. Comfortable, friendly atmosphere. Great service.

We had a great time tonight at Whetstone Station, our second visit, even though we live an hour away. We were lucky enough to find a great parking spot on a Friday night, and that was just the start of a great evening. First of all, the beer selection is really excellent, both what is on tap and what supplements... More

This brewery sits on the river and offers plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with great views. The beer brewed on site is very good and they have a huge list of guest beers so you are sure to find something you will like. I would rate this place a five if the food was just a little bit better... More

We couldn't resist going after seeing pictures of the incredible views and great beer selection. Both lived up to the hype and the food exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend.

The pub has beautiful views of rive and the bridge and a relaxed vibe. The service was impeccable and food tasty but my favorite part was in-house brewed beer sampler- absolutely some of the best I have had. I plan on going back in summer to enjoy the beer on deck

Description
Whetstone Station Restaurant and Brewery combines a large casual restaurant and open air rooftop bier garten, with a small experimental nano-brewery, all located right on the Connecticut River in Vermont. We offer an "inspired pub fare" style menu, with everything from small bites for a few bucks to full entrees. Along with one, always changing unique craft beer of their own they offer dozens of guest craft beers on draft and specialty drinks, all in an amazing waterfront location. The unique round building has been restored into a beautiful fire-lit space with a contemporary and industrial vibe. Indoor and outdoor dining, perched above the river, alongside a steel bridge and nestled between the green mountains make the amazing location a "don't miss" on any visit through Vermont.
