I have just got home after my husband surprised me on a dining experience. With in 2 minutes, I had to run to the toilet with a severe vomiting experience. I was deadly sick for about 10 min, until my whole diner came out of my stomach,. Appetizers were good, main course for both, my husband and I was terrible.... More

We celebrated my birthday at Mary's last night and had a wonderful experience. The dining room was cozy and inviting and the staff was warm and welcoming. From the minute we walked through the door we felt taken care of. The menu was creative and everything we ordered was delicious. What really stood out, though, was that the whole staff... More

We used to go every year for Easter Brunch. it was great as a "destination" and we gave it two stars as opposed to none because it is still a nice old farmhouse....but their "brunch buffet" was perhaps the most, quite honestly...disgusting... food we ever saw at a Buffet. there were scrambled eggs so hard with huge grey sections in... I love this place. The food is always excellent. The drinks are very special. I was just here last week for Chocolate Festival. If you are a chocoholic, you have to go. They do it for couple of weeks each winter. The amazing chocolate creations are wonderful. Cupcakes, cookies, cake, truffles, fondue, etc. Loved it as always. Too bad I... More

For Thanksgiving each year we try to find a new place with a buffet offering featuring locally sourced products. This was our first time at Mary's and it was outstanding. We had heard in advance about their signature garlic soup and it did not disappoint. Delicious food, well prepared and in a very homey atmosphere. Depending on when you plan... More

Truly a pleasant and unexpected surprise. Kudos to the chef for his creativity and amazing dishes. Including the homemade raspberry sorbet. Gold stars to our waitress - outstanding service. Go and enjoy a genuine New England setting and a 5 restaurant.

I must be living in a parallel universe from all those folks writing the glowing reviews on Trip Advisor. Reading them and having attended Mary B's in the distant past I eagerly anticipated tonight's epicurean rendezvous with my wife and friends. Their was nothing in the eclectic decor and down at the heels chic of the inn to suggest the... More

On October 1, my son and his bride had their wedding ceremony in Mary's red barn followed by an elegant buffet dinner and dancing. The Inn's staff set up chairs for the ceremony, and afterward, while we had cocktail hour, they removed the chairs and set up a bountiful and delicious dinner buffet. While we ate in the tent attached... More

A very pretty Inn in which we had lunch. They make great play of the farm to table menu. The meat and vegetables may be fresh but I found that they was rather bland.

Our legendary restaurant has been enticing guests for over three decades.

Since 1983 Chef-Owner Doug Mack has offered farm to table menus emphasizing all local products.

Fresh food sourced from our own on-site farm as well as other small, local farms is the framework upon which our culinary magic is built.

"A visit to Vermont and missing Mary's is like visiting Paris and missing the Eiffel Tower... the food at Mary’s is legendary"
