We got the chef's tasting menu for two, and they just kept bringing out the most delicious food! If you like chinese food, A Single Pebble is pretty much the best chinese food you've ever had. Meticulously prepared with the best ingredients and saved by an attentive and professional staff, the food is interesting and delicious. It was at times... More

Been here many times. I have never had a bad meal. It continues to be a staple in my restaurant lineup.

Single Pebble used to be a decent place to eat Chinese / Asian-inspired food in Burlington, Vermont. However the last few times that we were there, we did not have good experiences. The food is uninspired and salty, the environment is stale and unkempt, the service is increasingly inattentive, uncaring and unfriendly. The place is also over-priced for the quality... More

Three of us very much enjoyed the Chef's Tasting menu. It was fun to constantly be wondering what dish was going to be brought to our table next. Although it would have been a bit helpful to know in advance just how many courses were coming so we could have paced ourselves better. In total we were brought 4 vegetable... More

Having traveled extensively in Asia and specifically China, I have been leery of eating Asia food - it often is too americanized for me. Single Pebble hits the best of both worlds. In fact, I brought my Chinese friends here - yes I did, I brought chinese to a chinese restaurant in the USA - shear lunacy... But they loved... More

For the most part, the service is sloppy to downright awful, though there have been exceptions. I've been here at least a half dozen times and will go back, so it can't be too bad, right? Well, my husband loves it. I find it quite ordinary, though I would recommend the green beans. On my last visit I ordered shrimp... More

This is not your typical Asian restaurant. A Single Pebble is in a class of its own. Incredible food - so fresh and delicious! There are so many different options on the menu it is hard to decide. Order a number of plates to share - you will not regret it! The dumplings are great and my favorite was the... More

Food here was amazing. We had no idea what to expect when we walked in, sat down and greeted by very friendly and very knowledgeable staff. Best Asian food I ever had. You must make a reservation or you'll have to wait or be lucky like we were to get a table.

I came here on a business dinner in the early Winter of 2016; didn't have my glasses so could not read the menu... so I had to fake it and suggested our clients just order a bunch of things and we went from there. The food was stunning, varied, and came out quick and warm. I can't recommend a single... More

The Single Pebble was the perfect way to end our first day in Burlington. We went hungry and left fully satisfied (however wanting more). My boyfriend and I went for a late dinner and were blown away by the menu options and loved everything we ordered. We ordered several dishes to share and the dumplings were our favorite dish. They...
