Deli carry out with a variety of sandwiches, subs, burgers and salads. Great stop for late night sandwiches. Homemade brownies are awesome! Fast service. A must if you visit Burlington, Vermont. My son goes to college in Vermont, local favorite!!

After having some mediocre offerings for breakfast sandwiches in Burlington, we tried this little deli and 'Oh Boy!'... these are great. Everything was absolutely fresh and homemade and assembled to order. They do 'risers'... a big breakfast sandwich on a homemade kaiser and 'shiners'... the same with hash browns on top. They have a nice menu and are open 20... More

Let me tell you that if you are a fan of the breakfast sandwich... this is the one you want to try... The Rise and Shiner, perfectly cooked eggs, a sausage patty, a crisp hashbrown on a bulky roll... OMG... it is divine! I have not enjoyed such a great tasting sandwich in a long time. It was perfect for... More

My husband went to Champlain College and would always rave about the rise and shiner breakfast sandwiches. I wasn't sure if it was just a great hangover breakfast or truly amazing. At 30 years old I can say the bacon shiner was really amazing. A breakfast sandwich with egg, cabot cheese, and a hash brown on it! The lunch sandwiches... More

We stopped here to get takeout sandwiches on our way out of town and were pleasantly surprised at the delicious value meals. Our 3 teenagers got a sub, a hamburger and a sandwich and all raved about them. The grilled cheese with Cabot cheddar was also yummy and the greek salad with chicken was a great value as well as... This spot is open until 3am, and is a lifesaver some nights. It is a deli, and doesn’t have any seating, but it is clean. The service is hit or miss. After working late or going out with friends, you sometimes just need a spot to get a quick bite to eat. No the food isn’t “the best” of Burlington... More

Was recommended by the desk person at our hotel. Had turkey on French bread (3X, hiking, biking, and the ride home, so you know we liked it) The guy making the sandwiches was friendly and offered some good hiking advice. Reasonable prices, especially if you split a whole sub.

You have to get their specialty hashbrown, fried eggs, cheese n turkey sandwich! After a long day of fun on the lake and hiking around the farm this was an amazing and delicious treat! Felt like I was in college again!
