Sit at the kitchen counter -- watch really talented and well trained chefs prepare food that is intoxicating. The Parker House buns with the salted butter.. we could have stopped there and called the dinner a sublime experience. Fortunately, we persevered and shared the duck...More

Husband had researched carefully where to eat whilst staying two nights in town. Travelling from the U.K. you are reliant on often unreliable review websites but our excitement built when we arrived and everyone raved about this place. We were lucky to be looked after...More

When Hen of the Wood first came to Burlington our excitement could not be contained, however, over the last year and half of so the menu has gone from creative to predictable. The pricing used to be a good value, especially for creative entrees, however...More

In Burlington for business and we found this place on a whim the first night. Oysters are out of this world and the Ribeye was fantastic. Ask for a horseradish sauce and the chef won’t disappoint! It was so good, we came back for night...More

We were "walk in's" and were immediately seated facing the cooking area (it was early - around 5:30 PM). The menu is eclectic and the hanger steak entree I had was phenomenal. It's a more expensive than average dinner location but was also the best...More

Yes. I believe so. The party next to me ordered a vegetarian plate and I overheard that they thoroughly enjoyed the meal.
