Do not miss their creme brulee french toast! Their smoked salmon eggs benedict and pancakes are delicious, too.

nice casual dining, we went as part of our stay at the Essex Resort and really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. There were many different menu choices, but we went for the delicious burgers. They swap out a salad for fries ( if you prefer) and their onion rings were huge and lightly fried to perfection.

We stayed at the Essex hotel for the weekend and went here one night for dinner. I really liked the menu and the food was very good. We started with the Greek flatbread and both had burgers. Pricing was reasonable considering it is in a hotel.

We were a party of 8. They accommodated us beautifully and the menu offered something for everyone. Delicious!

The Tavern is a short distance from our home, so we visit 2-3 times a month for breakfast, take-out or evening dining. We have always had excellent, friendly and solicitous service and the food is quite good. Can get a little noisy at night but not to the extent that yoou won't enjoy your meal or company.

We decided to try the Tavern again. The last time we were there we sat at the bar and had terrible service. (How does that happen?) While most of the food was good - Burrata, black bean burger (excellent roll) and probably the best chocolate layer cake I have had in a long time - the service killed it. Our... More

seems every time we give them another try since we live so close its convenient, its doesn't hold up, service is so slow, something is either cold or rolls are hard or something is missing and waiting for help is difficult to capture.
