Unexpected pleasure after visiting Fair Haven with parents. They said they enjoyed their meals there in the past so we stopped in. Had great egg salad sandwich and very nice tomatoe soup. Daughter liked her chef salad. Prices were excellent and service great. Will go back for sure when in area.

This is an old fashioned counter-style restaurant. Very reasonably priced and the food was surprisingly good. Well worth the slight detour as we were traveling through on the way to elsewhere in Vermont. Friendly service. Good for breakfast, soups, home made desserts.

Delicious quick diner food! Nothing frilly or special just good home cooked breakfast and lunch. Sit up at the counter or pick a table, very homey atmosphere.

I have eaten in this dinner more times than I could count. The food is homemade and excellent. The hours of operation are limited, closing most days at 2pm. Sunday mornings are usually the busiest time of the week. You will not be disappointed if you stop for a meal. Breakfast is served all day. Several have stated that they... More

As always, our reviews are solely based on our particular tastes/experiences and are never intended to persuade/dissuade anyone from patronizing a venue. Stopped here for breakfast upon the recommendation of family living in the area; we were not disappointed. Although an older and (very) rustic restaurant, the service, food and friendliness of the staff and locals override any apprehensions one... More

Breakfast was excellent. Everyone in my group had very good food. The server was very friendly but she could've used a little extra help. No complaints.

I can't resist a diner. Although this one is atypical in appearance, being crunched in half a storefront on a corner, it beckoned me to stop. Inside it appears not to have been redecorated since the fifties, but it doesn't have a sad or unkempt feeling. It just must be in a time bubble. I sat at the counter since... More

When I walked into this little luncheonette, I was immediately reminded of times gone by. I could easily envision my grandparents enjoying a cup of homemade soup or a slice of pie. If you are looking for fancy, forget it. But the food is wholesome and satisfying and the place has a long counter for the regulars. Personally, I loved... More
