We saw a sign on a backroad (thank you gps that is a tad dyslexic) that said Skunk hollow tavern and the mileage. The Major said we HAD to go and who am I to ignore an order that directs us to booze and food, in a place called Skunk Hollow!? So happy we stopped by. The atmosphere is amazing,service... More

Not handicap accessible and parking lot was very icy. The food was very well prepared. I would recommend ordering the bread basket (as it is not included with the meal). The bread was warm and delicious.

I love the Skunk Hollow Tavern. In the small village of Hartland in a historical house that has gone from being a stage coach stop on the route to Woodstock VT, to a farm house, back to being a restaurant/pub. The Skunk Hollow is rich in atmosphere, good food and a welcoming feeling. If you want fine dining you can... More

Great live music and atmosphere. Strange building and expensive food. Great place for a Saturday night with some unusual local color.

Large group of 17 was accomidated by this tavern in the outback. Loved the food. Thought that we could have had a bit more space to spread out since we were the only people in the room. But we were well treated and had a great time.

We were a party of seven that were in the area overnight to attend the Harpoon Beerfest and found this place online. It's an old historic building with wood floors and beams. We were seated upstairs on the enclosed porch and it was wonderful. Dinner by candlelight is always nice. The menu is very limited and a bit pricey but... More

It gets busy even on a Wednesday, so make a reservation believe it or not! Great food, shrimp corn chowder and Waldorf salad, as well as shepherds pie. Great cocktails! The bar tender was. Dry friendly. We ended up sitting at the. At because we didn't have a reservation. A fun band played and yes they take up about half... More

Skunk Hollow is a unique building with an old time feel of family and friends. The live music draws you in and compels you to stay longer than intended to soak in the melodies and dramatic rhythms. The food and wine blends in perfectly to make this a once in a life time adventure. Luckily for me, I live in... More

We chose "The Skunk" for our Wedding Rehearsal Dinner. Service was fantastic! Pricing for private room totally beats all other restaurants in area.

I liked the food here and I even enjoyed the out of the way location. It felt very "off the beaten track". However I was shocked by the portions sizes. My daughter ordered the teriyaki beef stick appetizer. It tasted amazing but the portion was ONE stick. My 7 year old even commented that it wasn't enough food and she... More
