Haven't had a bad meal at 158 yet! Food is always fresh. Service is always friendly. Price is always very reasonable. Highly recommend. Breakfast, lunch or dinner.

We went here twice. Both times I wasn't impressed. My husband eats almost anything and he forced himself to eat the butternut squash soup. Turkey was delicious but green beans were pretty bad. Service was ok for how busy they were on thanksgiving. People were really nice.

I took my daughter to 158 Main for lunch last week. We were pleasantly surprised by the huge selection of items available at very reasonable prices. I had a lunch special of a cup of soup, 1/2 a chicken salad sandwich and a salad all for only $7.50. My daughter had a club sandwich. The other thing to mention is... More

If you're in the area you have to stop here for a fabulously filling hearty breakfast. All the breads are homemade and I promise you won't go away hungry. Old quirky building, very friendly staff.

Enjoyed both meals, well prepared and reasonable in cost. Really enjoyed the fresh breads. Would definitely return.

We were not sure what to expect as the place does not look like much from the outside but were so happy we went in! Our family went to 158 Main for brunch and I highly recommend it. The place was packed and we had to wait a bit. From what we heard from other patrons, that's the norm. The... More

We enjoyed a delightful mid-morning breakfast at this quaint and unique small town restaurant. Love the food, the atmosphere and the servers.

158 is always busy, so expect a line. The service tends to be slow, but only because the tables are filled. Some servers are friendlier than others though, but treat them well and they will warm up. The food is excellent, real Vermont food. I will go back each time I return to my hometown of Jeffersonville, VT. Don't forget... More

It doesn't look like much from the outside, but do yourself a favor and go in for a meal! The atmosphere is quaint and homey, and the food is fabulous! Extensive menu of homemade food - from breakfast to dinner! Homemade breads as well! We loved it and ate there every chance we had!

Stopped in last Sunday afternoon for some brunch and we were pleasantly pleased with the quality and deliciousness of the food. I had the Biscuits and Gravy Eggs Benedict, my spouse had the Traditional Eggs Benedict, The others at our table had omelets. The homefries were very crisp and nicely browned. The hollandaise sauce was perfectly lemony. The poached eggs... More
