If you are staying in Ludlow, you will notice that restaurant prices are on the high end. For example, here at the Killarney, it was $12 for 3 potato skins, $12 for 4 chicken strips and $17 for a cheeseburger. That's the price you pay for a resort town. The food at the Killarney was decent. The first day we just had appetizers and drinks (weak drinks at that), which were ok. The second day we had lunch and I felt the food was better. They do offer gluten free rolls, so that is a plus in itself.

The food was out of this world. The service was fast and the server checked with us often to see if we needed anything. We stopped shortly before the kitchen closed and the server made sure we got all that we ordered in a timely manner,

I stopped at The Killarney today to grab some Scotch Eggs, but it turns out that ain’t an Irish dish. While I was discussing this with my friend, the Prince of Plymouth, I overheard some guy say that Patrick Leahy is retiring. I got thinking about it over an order of bangers and mash, and as the Duke of Ludlow and former Earl of Cavendish I feel it is my duty to run for Senate and serve the fine people of Vermont. Be sure to vote for me on Town Meeting Day! Patrick Gray, the Duke of Ludlow, VT

So I’m on vacation and all I want is some good take out. Get back to the hotel and the order is someone else’s. How many times can this happen to me?!? One job hostess. Get the right order in the bag! Then we get the soggy fries and clam chowder with no clams and 5 pieces of potato. Fish and chips was nasty as well.

We're sorry for the mix-up with your order. This is not a typical experience with us, I assure you. If you're ever unsatisfied with your order, let our team know next time. We're always more than happy to make things right. We hope you'll give us another try in the future. Best, Mark, Owner

Ok the potato skins where really good. The clam chowder was not so great but just ok. The Rubin the horse radish was kind of just not great on it. The real meal killer was the mashed potatoes. I don’t know if they where powdered or frozen but yuck. I tried to convince my self that they got all fancy and ran them through a ricer but realistically I had to deal with the fact that they where made from off brand potato flakes. Go down the street to DJ or to the black rock in Springfield for what you pay the food is much tastier.

Great wings and worth trying their award winning sauce! They were fried and breaded so if you don’t like a breaded wing this isn’t for you. Very nice bar/pub feel. Went with kids and was still a family friendly bar. Definitely worth a stop and go early once oKEMO closes it would likely be a long wait!!

Great food. The award winning wings really were prob the best flavored wings I've ever had. Burgers were great, all the UK food was very good. The steaks were prob the least fav we had.

Just OK food. Burgers were OK. My husband's pot roast was pretty good but they forgot some of the things we ordered and brought our salad the same time as our entrées. Good if you're looking for something inexpensive and low-key but not a culinary masterpiece.

Friendly staff; following all protocols for safety. Food was very good. We had the sausage special and fried fish tacos. The hot apple cider with cinnamon whiskey was very good. Definitely would go back.

First dinner while staying in Ludlow. The atmosphere here during the summer is laid back, but I’m sure the energy can bring about some incredible moments when its busier. Wait staff was very polite and attended to our needs in a timely fashion. Pretzels and beer cheese was awesome. Rueben had perhaps the best sauerkraut ever! Pints are 20 ounces!!!

In Ludlow on weekday, one of few places that were open. The Irish themed pub was packed due to triva night. The friendly people found me a place at a long table, and I had a good evening. Service was hectic, but very friendly. The Fish and Chips were perfectly cooked. Chips nicely fried, as it often not the case, and the fish good sized. They have a great selection of beers. I would certainly go there again.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in central Vermont. On our last visit, I had the pot roast and it was SOOOOOOO good! The sides were excellent, too. My husband enjoyed the bangers and mash. It’s a friendly environment, even in the bar area where lots of young people were enjoying the Sunday NFL games. We highly recommend it.

The Killarney is my hands down favorite restaurant in VT. I wish we had one in Connecticut. Food is awesome service is great and I look forward to coming whenever I’m in the area. I came up to VT last Thursday for a quick visit with my Aunt. Since Covid, we haven’t been out to too many places. When we got there we signed in with our names and numbers which I thought was a cool idea and something CT should probably do too! Our server was Taylor, and she was awesome! We had wings and carbombs and just the fun time we needed. I saw my Aunt and other Aunt and Husband went back a couple days later and I was jealous!!! Thanks you guys for another great night. Thanks Taylor for your great and friendly service...especially times like these right now when serving with masks and all new guidelines. You did a great job! Can’t wait see see you guys and enjoy another awesome meal soon!!!

DELICIOUS food. TERRIBLE service. Terrible doesn’t even cover it. Been coming here for years and reconsider coming back. What a shame. Female waitress with piggy tail buns. Gonna loose you business….

We were on Vacation with our Son and Grandsons, and met some of our Son's friends here for a wonderful dinner. Both food and service were fantastic and everyone had a great time. When in Ludlow, don't pass it by.
