The food and service at Echo Lake Inn was very good. In particular, prior to sitting down for dinner, we could actually sit in a living room on comfortable furniture and enjoy a cocktail. The dinner itself was served expeditiously and the food was extremely tasty. It was a nice place to enjoy dinner - far away from the ski slopes. Only complaint, it can be noisy if there is a large number of dinners.

We have visited Echo Lake inn restaurant multiple times. Every time reservation was a breeze despite large party, booking details always not a problem with gracious host and food is very tasty and always served with the smile. Great experience every time. One of best restaurants (food wise) in Ludlow /Okemo area

It was a little further than I had anticipated from Okemo but well worth the trip. The Inn is old but charming and maintained. The entry way into the Inn had a table of gnomes which were cute and the bar area had a few gnomes around too. The host greeted us and asked if we wanted a cocktail before sitting. We declined and we were seated after we hung up our jackets. Waitress greeted us promptly and provided us with the specials of the day. We ordered the winter salad to share and the waitress brought out the salad already split so we didn't have to manage at the table. It was delicious. My husband order the pork chop which was came out juicy and not dried. I had the boneless pan seared chicken breast that had the pomegranate-orange reduction sauce. It was delicious. I would definitely come back again

I was on a bus trip that had reservations for supper at the inn. When we arrived on time, another bus pulled in. They crammed 80 people in a small place and then served a buffet line! It was so crowded I couldn’t get my feet out from under the table and people would bump into my table while waiting in line. And the food was mediocre at best. Definitely not to the caliber we’d been having along the way.

Due to COVID, they are at limited capacity. Our waitress was wonderful and friendly and helpful! The food was excellent. Dining room was quiet- windows were open. Outside dining was also an option. . Everyone was wearing a mask. We felt safe. We enjoyed the meal and desserts!

We have never been to Okemo before and had a wonderful time on and off the mountain. The lodge was wonderful and we upgraded to a room with a jacuzzi (and it was used!!!). Food was delicious. They even opened the dining room early for us so we could be to the mountains by 8:00 am. Highly recommend!!!!

We booked for a “Murder Mystery Weekend”. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was exceptional! The inn is very old, and has great character. The bar area, downstairs pub, and living room area were very cozy with lots of places to sit and converse. Darts, and pool in the pub add to the experience.
The room we were assigned was on the third floor, which meant a lot of stairs up and down. The room could use some freshening up, as it has been a long time since it has been upgraded.

My husband and I had dinner here this past Friday - it was one of the best meals we've had in a while! Sausage stuffed mushrooms over risotto and French onion soup to start. For dinner there was ravioli in walnut cream sauce and rib eye over risotto and yellow beets. Everything was absolutely delicious. I never knew I liked beets!!!

My husband and I were staying at the Echo Lake Inn and decided to stay in and have dinner after a long day of being out and about. The food was delicious and the service was great. We both had steak with the vegetable of the day. The atmosphere was great. It felt very intimate even with other people there.

My husband and I both had excellent meals at Echo Lake Inn. He had the salmon special that night and said it was the best salmon he has ever had a restaurant because it was not overcooked and very flavorful. He commented several times during dinner how tasty his food was. I had a pork chop with an apple compote. With the vegetable that day, my meal tasted like Fall on a plate. It was so good. We would have liked to have tried dessert, but we could not eat anything more. Our server was very friendly and accommodating and gave us good recommendations and answered the questions we had. He was very knowledgeable about the items on the menu. A great evening out!

We love to eat at the Inn when we visit Vermont. It reeks of history with original wood floors and the wonderful smell only an old well run Inn can have. The menu is always limited but outstanding, with farm to table meats and vegetables, wonderful sauces and deserts, and always gracious and attentive service you expect when fine dining

Echo Lake Inn is such a charming place for dinner. The menu is always new and uses many local foods. This is always a favorite for our family in the winter after skiing at Okemo.

Had a prixe fix Christmas dinner here during our recent trip to Okemo. The apple and onion soup was outstanding and the salad was great with a unique dressing. My chicken was slightly overcooked but otherwise a very enjoyable meal. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating.

Very nice family meal on the Thursday fixed price menu night. The price of $29 buys a three course meal. For the first course an outstanding chilled cantaloupe soup was on the menu. The second course options included a delicious vegetable stuffed filet of sole. There were also veggie, steak and chicken options. The third course Deserts included an excellent cheese cake, bread pudding, flourless chocolate cake etc. The wine list is good with a range of options and price points. And the service was excellent: very attentive and helpful. Will repeat in the near future.

We did a one night stay July 4'th weekend. The inn was very nice. Really comfy beds(I think just replaced)Bathroom was a good size & very clean & modern. Shower was decent. Takes a bit to warm up(there's a sign that tells you that)The Inn has a restaurant, unfortunately most are closed in this area for the summer, hence our rather tepid dinner at Sam's Steakhouse. The inn & most like it are now being booked exclusively for weekend weddings. It's how a lot of these smaller places stay profitable. This place has a large pool, which was very refreshing. The pool was larger than most hotel pools I've seen. I highly recommend staying a night or 2. They do a really nice(and pretty large) country breakfast.
